With all the people claiming this game is dead and the number reports coming in, it is hard to see them come back from this.
New games have taken away so many people and more great games will be releasing this year.
I love destiny, but I'm in a constant state of fear that something I loved will disappear into a memory of what not to do in the game industry.
I pray for this games success.

I love D1 but this shit on life support needs to be unplugged. Bingo deserves lights out.
-
I don't want Destiny to die either. One thing is for sure though... I play nearly every day and still loving the wonderful world of Destiny and Destiny 2.
-
I'd rather not see destiny die either. But I guess all things, good and bad, do eventually come to an end.

4 AntwortenPraying for this game? Wow... there has to be a beter way to use your prayers. I get it. This was once a fun playground where we could meet up with friends and have some fun... and the playground had all the swing sets removed, the water fountains stopped working, and now there's crack vials and trash collecting against the fences. Not a pretty sight. But for you to direct your prayers at this game and its revival seems ridiculous to me. Perhaps you can pray for your family, world peace, or even that the Eagles win the SuperBowl.... Something else has to be more important to you by now.

I still like it
-
I don’t want it to die either. But if it does die hopefully a game just as amazing comes out.

To everything, Turn Turn Turn.

I feel your pain bud. If it’s any consolation, no game really “dies” anymore. Heck you can still find games on Halo 3, it just gets harder to find a fire team and new content stops coming out.

2 AntwortenIt's not going to die You're welcome.

Same here man

“I want Bungie dead! I want Destiny franchise Dead! I want their servers burned to the ground and I want to piss on the ashes.”* *adapted from al Capone, The Untouchables*
-
In all reality it died on September 8. The day D2 dropped was the day the destiny we all knew and loved died.

Bearbeitet von Peace, Harbinger of Chaos: 2/2/2018 11:53:47 PMI had over 5,000 hours on Destiny 1. And wanted Destiny 2 to succeed. But they have really screwed this one up. And that turn over at Bungie, turn over at the top is a clear sign that they have issues there. I remember the rumor that they had 16 million people playing back around crota. I doubt they can even break seven figures now
-
If you want to get on a technical level, Destiny will only die when Bungie permanently shuts the servers down. So until then, it won't die any time soon.
-
I don't want it to die and doubt it ever would. I have jumped back to playing D1 a lot and am finding new friends with every raid. I wish D2 had that kind of draw but I don't think it ever will. Hopefully they can make it somewhat worth playing until D3, if not I have a bunch playing D1 so it's fine.
-
It wont die, the game has somewhat of a following of die hard fans, may not be the most popular game ever but it wont die.
-
I hear you : but whenever I get on I find my friends are there or I have no problem finding players - so: reports of destiny's death have been greatly exaggerated (false prophets have been making this prophecy literally for years now)
-
I totally agree, and I’m not being sarcastic for those of you who can’t tell. 👊
-
I don’t understand why people are saying all this. For me I’d like them change the amount of room you have for weapons and everything. But. I think the game is fine. I love this game and it was the 1st game I played whe I got my Xbox

Feel the same way poster. The universe has some much opportunity, large part of the problem is the current state of the gaming industry and spoiled babies who NEED literal non-stop gratification. I've enjoyed the work needed to unlock certain super rare items. This isn't to say Bungie hasn't messed up a few times with their tom-foolery behind the scenes, but that's part of building, balancing and maintaining anything. Hoping they hire some good content creators that aren't so tired of working on this game and getting non-stop flack from their customers. In the end, all those here bashing the game are still in the Destiny universe and moaning on the forum, so it seems healthy and well to me. Hopefully something comes of all this. Anyways, bring on the hate [D2 micdrop emote].

3 Antwortenpersonally I hope it dies in a fire, deals a massive blow to activision, puts bungie out of business, and gets bought by a worthy studio to completely revamp the story and game with the same core aspects of D1 development.
