With all the people claiming this game is dead and the number reports coming in, it is hard to see them come back from this.
New games have taken away so many people and more great games will be releasing this year.
I love destiny, but I'm in a constant state of fear that something I loved will disappear into a memory of what not to do in the game industry.
I pray for this games success.

9 AntwortenIt won’t. People said d1 was dead all the time and yet I’ve seen posts saying “back to d1”

Sorry kid. But the forums are more alive than destiny 2. It's a dead game/franchise. No reviving it this time. Bungie used up all their X's and filled them with lies and bullshit. But it's ok.. The remaining one's will stick around for the rest of the year. Cause Red Dead 2 is pushed back to end of year and Anthem is pushed back to next year.. Bungie is cheering for this, now they don't have to pretend to care anymore.

Destiny is not going to died cuz Bungie is working on destiny3 we will see again in D3

1 AntwortenDon't. Pray for it to die. That's the only way these idiots will ever be shocked into making games properly.
-
1 AntwortenSadly I doubt this game will be a lesson to anyone, you still see companies making mistakes that No Man's Sky did. Common sense and good planning are dead in the game industry it seems.

Nobody does but Bungie is ruining their own game.
I pray for this games success.
And some of us are cheering for the iceberg.

Even at my most disillusioned, what I want more than anything when it comes to this game is to see Bungie pull their head out of their ass and get back on the right track. Destiny has always had the potential to be a truly amazing franchise. I hate the thought of that potential just being flushed down the drain because of bad business and greed. I'm sick of seeing games that should be masterpieces instead being released in a broken state and prioritizing money at the cost of actual quality.

I'll be waiting until March to come back after the sandbox update. I didn't play for a month and tried playing some Iron Banner earlier today and it just isn't enjoyable to me, especially when really none of my friends play anymore. Quite upsetting. Unfortunately might be too late for this game, we'll see though.

I don't want it to die either. D1 was my go to game because it was fun, it was familiar, and easy to just chill. Crucible was actually fun for lone wolf types like myself. D2 just doesn't have that. I'll play it through the next expansion, but I have to admit I'm getting a lot more done around the house and trying new games and watching movies ... So in a way, with D2 being bad has given me a much needed break, and a blessing in disguise.

You might want to start believing, it helps with the healing...

It’s just a game bub, plenty of better games out there, and even options besides gaming to while away the hours

Nobody does.

You are too late

Agreed, but Bungie is taking destiny 2 for a drive and is crashing it into as many cars as possible before plunging off a cliff. Sorry bud.

I Don't want it to die either, Destiny 1 is one of my favorite games of all time, for many reasons. It's really sad to see Destiny 2 being bashed this brutally, though i understand some of it, it's kinda over the top. I have never seen so much negativity and unreasonable comments and hate towards a game before. But hey, i hope this game survives the shitstorm and becomes something great in the near future.

I don't want the game to die either but considering all the new games coming out and bad PR practices, it may be inevitable. We have 8.3-8.7m registered users across the platforms but games like Warframe, PUBG, and games on the Switch....thing was Destiny did not had any competition in the past. There was the Division but it's wasn't as perfected as people say it is now. The crucial implement that hurted Destiny the most was having a throttling system in the game. The lack of activities and stale builds on character customizations also contributed, and more, but imo...this game might have been able to survive if the throttling system was never imputed in the first place. D1 WAS in a similar spot if not worse but because there was no throttling, it was able to hang on.
