With all the people claiming this game is dead and the number reports coming in, it is hard to see them come back from this.
New games have taken away so many people and more great games will be releasing this year.
I love destiny, but I'm in a constant state of fear that something I loved will disappear into a memory of what not to do in the game industry.
I pray for this games success.

Destiny died when it lost its brain Joseph Staten and its heart Marty O'Donnel.

I didn't want it to die either. But now I do. Too many lies, too much greed, little communication. Now they're taking too long to fix things that should never have been in the game in the first place. They're paying the price for ignoring their player base and assuming we'd just play along with them, and are now back peddling to save face. They really thought we wouldn't notice. I really regret buying this game, it didn't live up to the D1 standard. They dropped the ball by not simply carrying on from D1. The destiny universe could have been huge.

The show no sign of creativity or direction. They limp from one pr disaster to another with very little sign of actually learning from them. But the saddest aspect of the whole franchise is the squandered potential that this game had. Given where D1 left off even the most inept company could have taken what was there and ran with it. But not Mr Smith and co. The design choices really beggar belief. The game you're now playing is the best Smith has to offer.

Why does it matter? Srsly, Bungie has repeatedly said it wants us to play other games. Heck, even their leadership tweets they're off to play Monster Hunter. They've built this game and are already looking forward, and working on D3. D2 is an afterthought, icing on the cake that could taste a little better or be made to look prettier but the cake is D3 right now.

Based off of the roadmap they released and the sandbox changes they are going to make, the game can only get better

Bearbeitet von TheLastSeabass: 2/5/2018 2:32:27 AMI don’t know about praying for a video game but I’d argue most people want Destiny to be good.

This game will be good in September 2018
-
No one does. No one knows what it was like for people like us growin up.

I also really want this game to survive and come back from this. I truly enjoy destiny and want to keep playing. It's not impossible to comeback from this but it's gonna be hard. The y2 content NEEDS to hit home if it's gonna comeback. Just look at the state d1 was in and then how big it made it when TTK came out in y2. D2 is in a much worse state than d1 was but if the y2 content is just as good and/or better than d1 y2 was, then it'll be fine.

It needs to die so Bungle get it that they f**ked up Then they can rebuild
-
Yeah i know right. Anyone that wishes for this game to die is obviously a jerk.

I think the phrase you were looking for was "I didn't want Destiny to die."

1 AntwortenI do. I dont even play the game any more. You could argue I shouldnt even really be on these forums in that case. But i like reading about the controversies. For me this game represents everything wrong with AAA market today. Everything wrong with the way publishers treat their fans like cattle to be herded. The lack of any real creativity, artistry and passion is just quite sad. And for that reason i want it to die. A lesson to the publishers that we wont stand for this nonsense anymore.

Bearbeitet von Darth Newbieous: 2/3/2018 3:28:17 PMBungie took a game I really enjoyed then gutted it, simplified it and turned it into a game focused on eververse. And now they are going to sell the fans/players d1 features back bit by bit and act Like they are doing you a favor when it should have been in d2 to begin with. I want to watch it burn to the ground while I enjoy playing other games. I am only on the forums for the show.

31 AntwortenI hope it dies in a fiery explosion. This game turned into a giant piece of ass, topped with more ass, and shit.

3 AntwortenI was a FREAKING big fan of this game, a fanboy defending the game no matter what. I was just in f***ing in love with it so much. I played a lot since vanilla D1.... after spending 120$ + for pre-ordering D2 and DLC’s I was shocked at how they f**king screwed the game and the BIG lack of content. Honestly, at this point I just hope it dies in Bungie’s face so they will see how much they have screwed up and learn their lesson. F*ck you Bungie and Activision too, you killed your own game, now come here and tell me you listen to your fans and playerbase. Honestly, NEVER AGAIN!

I don’t want the game to die either, but Bungo has been doing it’s utmost to murder it.

Bearbeitet von CallMeRenn: 2/3/2018 10:40:20 PMI want to see it prosper as well, but with the stubborn, prideful D1 veterans, it will die. Stubborn people are stubborn, and if they aren't going to change their minds, sadly, nothing will. I think they should move some of the weekly reset items to the daily, such as the Clan XP and Call to Arms and the Heroic Strikes. And increase the damage of most grenades or lower the cool downs. I know if they did those things I'd play it more. This is just my opinion, so take it as you will, but I strongly disagree with the rapid demand for the Special Weapon slot to be brought back, I feel that while the ex-special weapons are slightly underpowered now, adding them into the energy slot would be an astronomical step in the wrong decision.

I want Destiny to succeed too. But i also want to see destiny burn to the ground like how stone cold walked into the smackdown hotel, checked into room 316, and burned the son of a bitch to the ground. It seems crazy does it? So it's a win-win for me ¯\_(ツ)_/ ¯

I've been stopped. It's really sad. Destiny isn't just any old game to me. It's special. Something inside me really broke. I'll never be the same gamer again. Thanks bungie. You've made me actually have to go outside and socialize like a normal human being.
-
They've already lost all credibility because they're idiots just like you
-
Too late. The game was never born.

I didn’t want the Sega Saturn to die either

It L be fine.

1 AntwortenThey could easily redeem themselves in D3. and it wouldn't even be that hard, they would just have to express some common sense. in D2 they attempted to "fix" stuff that wasn't an issue to begin with, so that was their major downfall. they were so disconnected from the community that they had no common sense on what they community licked
