Perhaps his heart is in the right place, and he can only do so much, but can Bungie pull through? Will the higher ups call more bad shots? MTX got abused. How will the writing and lore be treated?
Edit 2: Stohl apologizes but doesn’t clarify. More vagueness. Also, despite all the likes, Bungie mods have buried this post to hide the flack they’re getting. Going to repost this.

Why do you think there are so many speculative videos around the grimoire? You guys are grabbing for straws again.

2 AntwortenIn and of itself this isn’t the end of the world... ...but Bungie are trying to fix a currently bad relationship between them and their players. They don’t need silly comments that run the risk of igniting the lore community, many of whom feel passionately about this matter. Bungie have a thousand different things they could be talking to us about right now. Things that matter and that move us forward in terms of player engagement. Telling us the lore isn’t canon is NOT one of those things...

So the rude and disrespectful posts that are common here are now being aimed at the Marvel comic writer... why am I not surprised. 2 AntwortenLet's be honest with ourselfs for one min. How did you not see this coming. During the first Iron Banner week when I went to see ol salad man and it still said LAST Surviving member of the iron lords I knew Bungie had lost grip of the story. Now I saw them fixing this a different way. With curse of Osirus being about the Vex I thought we were about to erase our own D1 story so that D2s shit show of a game could make sense agian. You can stop here the rest is just how I think it makes sense to do this. So you start the game you're not in the same ship as D1 Why? Can't speak Why? Your abilities don't work the same as they did (ex: no self rez) Why? Sparrows no longer have horns Why? I may be missing a few but, they answer to all the why's is.....wait for it..........TIME TRAVEL!!! We screwed everything up, not Bungie or Activision. My idea is after you time travel it lets you now replay the campaign simulating that you are stuck in a time loop forced to the same things over and over agian (see that would even explain why grind) for all eternity.

4 AntwortenIt's Reach all over again. With one slight difference. REACH WAS A GOOD GAME AND DIDN'T SUCK LIKE D2. Reach expanded on Halo, not remove the features of the previous games.
