Title says it all. My answer is in the spoiler below: [spoiler]Okay. This'll be a really long story about the one person that makes me happy. No, it's not my mom, dad, bro, sis, or anyone related to me. The person I'm talking about is the only person that is able to make me feel happy when I'm around her. And she just so happens to be my best friend. I met her in first grade (we're sophomores in high school now but we're really close), two weeks after I was the "New Kid" at my elementary school. Why did I change schools? Well, I have ADHD and that's the main reason why. I was at a catholic school but I'm getting sidetracked. Anyway, long story short, we met two weeks after I was the New Kid and she was the new New Kid. We were paired up to do math problems together but based on experiences with other classmates and a hint of bullying, I expected her to be the same way. But she wasn't. She didn't want to work with me either, but we got the math done. After that, we became fast friends. We would always hang out together. Hell, she kept me from being lonely at recess! But the most important thing that happened to us at the time was when we ran laps for PE. We already finished our laps (we had to run 1 mile) and we were walking around the track field [b][i]holding hands![/i][/b] Kids were making fun of us by singing that stupid couple-in-a-tree-kissing song and I got really mad at them. But my best friend calmed me down and told me we were meant to be together and that God chose us to be together and stuff like that. And after that, every time I'm around her, I just can't stop smiling because you know why? She is the one girl that showed me that it's okay to be me. We still talk to each other over Discord, and last year and yesterday, I gave her some really thoughtful gifts for Christmas and her birthday, and she said (and these were her exact words) that I was "The [b]best person ever[/b]!"[/spoiler] So who or what makes you happy?
