3 AntwortenStreamers are a huge reason why this game sucks so bad. They got to play it early on and all sucked the teet saying how great it was instead of telling the truth....that it was bland AF.

they have a pontential 5 million customers out there - Every streamer etc - has said they wont focus on destiny - but when updates etc come out they will review and try them out. If the dlc and updates are enough - they will by default focus on D2 - this encourages 1.5 million users to purchase or get dlc.. My guess is they see that September is the magic month and that small updates wont be enough to fix the game in between now and then.

9 AntwortenTriple released a vid about how shitty d2 is as well (he states it nicer lol). Look up any YouTuber that used to play Destiny and you'll find the hate video on d2. The game is a cash grab dumpster fire. I hope the company goes under and brings Activision down with it as much as they can.

1 AntwortenFirst I'm not a fan of twitch or YouTubers, if rather play a game rather than watch it. That said it actually is a big deal and very telling sign for the game even if it's not your thing. Bungie loves thse people they bring exposure to the game and it's basically free advertising. They would even give these streamers and YouTubers special access in order to hype the game. It's a small sample of a bigger picture of people losing interest in this game. Same thing with people arguing that destiny tracker doesn't show the entire destiny population, but it does show a trend of a declining player base. So as much as you may hate these people and what they do it represents what is actually happening within a games overall player base.

I believe Goth when he says he wanted to rebrand a bit. Even Kojima didn't just want to be "The Metal Gear Guy" Dunno about the others though.

All the satellite businesses that fed off of those hardcore players interest can’t survive. Not Bungie’s problem. Bungie’s problem is the loss of that hardcore audience because they can’t community build around casual gamers. The guy stepping down basically turned Activision Blizzard into the juggernaut that it is. So making the misrepresentation that he’s somehow resigning in disgrace only sinks what little credibility you have. Destiny 2 is a success by every metric that Activision and their shareholders give a shit about. The guy probably feels he has nothing left to prove where he’s at and is moving on.

11 AntwortenMan, Bungie really has been pushing Goth out for a while though. I remember the HoW reveal when he called them out on a lack of a raid - priceless. Datto, on the other hand...he finally stopped preaching why we are all stupid for not loving D2 and got on this side of the line to save his channel. The guy moves with his viewers, and his viewers are not interested in D2 anymore. That is all it is for him.

I.e Leahloveschief Sage on the other hand I would say takes destiny gameplay mechanics to another level. Making the game more challenging but has tops of 1,000 views Compared to goth getting 20,000 talking about utter shit

Its because the game is shallow, and the devs prioritize their wallet over making a decent game. D1 i loved,despite all the bs of year one i still loved it. D2 just feels nasty, it oozes corporate greed, and rushed development. All of the changes save for the auto climb on ledges and not having to go to orbit, are bad. Theres no variety, theres no incentive to play the game. This is why everyone has given up on D2.
