1 AntwortenBattle Royale is extremely overrated in my opinion. I'd rather see Halo 6 return to the classic formula.

3 AntwortenThe only game that currently isn't a battle royale or doesn't have that mode in it, that would actually work really well is Ghost Recon Wildlands. The game already has somewhat realistic bullet physics and weapon attachments. They wouldn't even have to make a new map, just section off parts, since the base game's map is so huge.

That would be terrible. Pls no.

Doesn’t sound all that fun, if you ask me. On the rare occasion I do play multiplayer, it’s to play with friends not kill everything that moves.

GODDAMMIT 343 NO. STOP. JUST... STOP.

I love halo. I don’t want to not love halo. Don’t do this to us 343. We need to go back to the basics and make halo great again
-
I’d rather it not exist.

1 AntwortenA Battle Royal type in Halo sounds horrifying. Halo is primarily an arena shooter

Where are the rumors coming from? This is the first Ive heard of halo doing battle Royale and I frequent the halo forum. As for my interest on it: doubtful that it'll be good, depends on the engine they use for it I guess and the servers themselves. You're not getting 50 players in a game using what they currently have. Hopefully it's not just "halo battle Royale" cause that's just a dieing game waiting to happen. They need to do something new and different from PUBG and Fortnite to stand out.

I’d probably buy it cause I’m a halo fanboy but I wouldn’t be happy if it replaced a classic halo 6. I’m guessing it’d be a add-on like firefight or something and smaller scale than 100 players. Regardless, you can basically play these game types on customs in halo 5 already so adding minimal support to fully realize the game type wouldn’t be too much of a stretch. I know leading up to PUBG there were tons in the custom game browser.

Personally I’d rather have the ghost recon wild lands pvp. 4v4 elimination style that uses small team tactics and skill to win.

2 AntwortenThat is a tough question. I can imagine several scenarios. One example would be in essence Halo Wars, but in ego-shooter perspective. And a few people controlling from above. The other idea would be a night-time map, and two teams against each other, like ODSTs trying to assassinate Covenant enemies. The problem I see with a Battle Royale in Halo setting is that Spartans are never really shown to be subtle or stealthy (even while they are fully capable to be so). In Halo Games Spartans are usually shown on the front, blasting enemies left and right. That kinda doesn't fit with a Battle Royale, survival like setting. Of course you could say, this is training for UNSC members to be deployed behind enemy lines, trying to find weapons and trying to survive, while systematically eliminating targets. I think that would be the essence which the makers would have to capture in their Halo BR. As with the futuristic setting of Halo, map ideas are limitless. Could be a huge desert, a Forerunner structure like you've mentioned, even a jungle. As I'm imagining the BR to be another War Games simulation, it could be anything. Oh, and vehicles. Could be an interesting point to fight for a Scorpion or something which spawns randomly on the map.

If it were an addition to Halo 5 (or 6) and not a stand-alone title then yeah.

4 AntwortenSounds like the death of Halo to me. If it's a gamemode, and not an entire game in of itself it'd be fine. If it's a game, though... Yeah, Halo is basically dead then if it's going to start copying fads.
