Like what do they earn from throttling faction rally rewards? Nothing. They obviously understand the community wint like it, so why? Same applies to no new weapons. Its just stupid.

Can't help but wonder if maybe they're just sick of it all already, and this is their way of trying to weasel out of their contract with Activision without getting sued. The alternative is a mixture of gross incompetence and negligence on Bungie's part.
-
I think these are all exercises in seeing how far they can push the community. Like if I am your employer and I am paying you $20/hour and then we talk and I cut that to $10/hour and you bitch but will settle with me at $12/hour and still come to work every day, then I just succeeded in lowering the standard and kept you happy.

They're throttling rewards so there are less people running around with the trash dead orbit and FWC gear. NEW MONARCHY FOREVER

90 AntwortenBearbeitet von Lost Sols: 1/19/2018 10:47:47 PMThey want people to actually play the game and not open the same chest 500 times without firing a single round and then complaining there's no grind. They acknowledged that the fix of moving the faction tokens to the normal global CD on chests isn't the right answer going forward and it will be changed. That said, there are other things players can do besides farming the same Lost Sector over and over and over. Run 2 Lost Sectors and do a public event. Or go find the control zones to cap that give a faction token for each and 4 for the final boss. Everyone are giving Bungie all this shit over anything they can. Isn't the point to play the game and experience all the content? For the first 2 1/2 YEARS of D1 factions were pointless outside of shaders and ships after about one week into each expansion. The overwhelming complaint the first 2 faction rallies was that players couldn't get full gear sets. So Bungie fixed the drops AND let us buy gear at set milestones AND they made ornaments for each piece that we could grind for playing the rest of the game and I'm sorry, it's the most fun factions have been since TTK and them having legendary class items to level up and grind. I had the Hunter cloak going in. Had the full set day one. Have all the ornaments now. It was fun playing and fun getting them. Know what wasn't fun? Cheesing tokens last FR. So maybe, just maybe if people stopped listening to all the negativity and just played the game, they might find that it's still fun.

2 AntwortenSounds like the same thing is going on here that happened to Zipper Interactive, maker of Socom series.. Sony shut Zipper down saying their work was complete....
-
4 AntwortenPeople were collecting hundreds of tokens an hour without firing a single shot. If you really can't understand why they tried to stop that, you're being unrealistic about video games.

IHNFC...but yes

When datto quits destiny there's a problem. Just saying

Actually, you are the ones trying to kill the game.

Bearbeitet von XxStuxX: 1/20/2018 4:42:58 PMThe more they completely screw over the player base time and again the more I think this is true. The developers who work at Bungie are highly intelligent. The sort of decisions they come up with makes me think they want out

Destiny died when Joseph Staten left

I read all the feedback on Tuesday so didn't even log in 'till Thursday, boy how wrong the whingeing was. Had no problem getting hundreds of tokens by just actually playing the game. Have enjoyed this way more than the last one. However the 10 minutes for lost sector cooldown would have been better if it had been 5 mins.

Honestly, bungie needs to get back with 343 & go back to making halo projects
-
11 AntwortenBungie is sitting on a lot of money regardless. They really didnt care about the launch since they knew people were gonna buy it. Its all for the $
-
2 Antwortenthat game is just in hands of incompetent people.
-
I give up with them. Enough of their shady talk.

2 AntwortenAs much as we want the destiny franchise to succeed... Face the facts... And just move on... And remember they dug their own grave

Agree, it makes no sense. Ruin the whole game/event so a few people can’t do a boring grind for tokens/shards. They will nerf the whole game to prevent something that has little bearing on it. Who are the morons making these decisions? Get a bit of perspective wont you? Better to have a few exploits in the game, than a boring grindfest that doesn’t respect a player’s time or effort.
-
7 AntwortenIt looks that way often. I’m sure they mean really well. But they keep dropping the ball and that combined with the amount of missed opportunities is simply staggering. I’ve been accused of being BDF just for calling out shit posts. And I’ve moved on to Warframe. Wish I would have found/tried that game ages ago. I do have to thank the community for bringing it up. I won’t even miss Destiny and all the fails now.

1 Antworten
Like what do they earn from throttling faction rally rewards? Nothing. They obviously understand the community wint like it, so why? Same applies to no new weapons. 1 AntwortenDon’t worry , exciting changes are coming before the end of the year as stated by John Hambrick. End of the year you say , it’s mother -blam!-ing January.

1 AntwortenNot intentionally, they are just super out of touch with what gamers want. D2 is broken in multiple places, barely tested, content thin and generally a piss poor, lazy reboot. If your sequel disappoints 85% of the first games player base, offers little new and no real innovation....well your falling into COD territory... Then add a community manager that doesnt interact or manage expectations of the community and the huge explosion in battle royal games and yeah....D2 is screwed. Fortnite alone is 40 million players, PUBG more I believe, and both supported by a Chinese company that is the 4th biggest (or there abouts) They support devs appropriately and make Activision look like a indie start up by comparison.
-
I don't think they are. I really think the coding or whatever they done for the reboot of D2 is difficult to add the all the things they need to. Once you change the foundations of anything you end up with a different outcome. A lot of people want what we had in Destiny Y3 plus innovation. It seems to me that the direction D2 was headed is way of the mark. But with the foundation D2 is built on, it will not support the changes it needs easily.

Bearbeitet von Dragneel: 1/20/2018 10:11:50 AMThey've just deigned a terrible "content" called "Lost sectors" besides it's boring and makes no sense, it also has a huge impact on these events causing ppl are not participating in the "real content" (if there's any, I'm not sure). They simply can't do anything about this monster they've created but it would have been absolutely avoidable unfortunately bungie isn't famous of their skill at creating content nowadays...

Reduce the lock out time to 3 minutes from one lost sector to another in the SAME area. If you run to another area and complete a lost sector there will be no lock out time. Patrol missions now reward 1-3 tokens as well. (Depending on what mission it was) If you complete EVER SINGLE lost sector on the planet or moon you are rewarded 20 tokens.
