Destiny 3 - errrmmm no thanks!
So Bunghole do you really think that it is a good idea to start working on Destiny 3 right now?
Are you serious?! Are you that dense?!
Don't you think you should be concentrating on fixing Destiny 1.5 first of all?

You have done this to yourselves, bad decision after bad decision. How is it that all the people responsible for those -blam!- ups have not been fired yet?
Do you think that anyone will actually buy Destiny 3? I certainly will not - you have completely lost my trust and you have zero credibility in my eyes.

1 AntwortenDestiny should have been a persistent, updated world. End of story. Activision demanded a sequel release schedule instead, wanting to cash in on the CoD or Assassin's Creed franchise model, and it's failing miserably because [i]Destiny wasn't built to have sequels. [/i] But whatever. If Bungie doesn't have the stones to make their own decisions, they can go down with the ship.

Destiny 3 is already out actually. It's so much better than Destiny 1 or Destiny 2. The story is engaging, the mod system is deep and complex, the melee weapons are all individually amazing. I'm not sure why they called it Warframe or built a time machine to go back in time and release it before Destiny 1 came out under a different company name but I mean they gotta do their own thing right?

4 AntwortenI convinced 2 of my friends to preorder D2 and both expansions and I did the same. I not mad that I feel like I wasted $100+ on the game because I should have known better. All of the evidence was there. Convincing 2 of my friends to waste that $ is one of my lifes biggest regrets and I am not exaggerating. I feel awful about it.

2 AntwortenDestiny 3 would quite literally have to be an epiphany for me, before I would even think about buying it. Ahost of angels would herald the release of Destiny 3, a stairway would descend from the heavens above, and the Lord God himself would hand deliver me a copy of the game. 'Here you go my child, the Destiny that you have always desired', he would say to me. Being the suspicious guardian that I am, I would pull the Lord over to one side and whisper, 'Bungie did not put you up to this did they?' To which he would reply, 'do not worry my child, I have a cozy warm place lined up for Luke Smith, he is on his way there right now'...

2 AntwortenThis time I’m not pre ordering destiny 3 quickly like I did with Destiny 2, not happening again. I will wait a few months until everyone else puts their 2 cents in. If it actually by a miracle ends being a great game then sure I’ll get it. If it’s the same repetitive cycle again, then no I will pass on it. I don’t understand why they’re working on destiny 3. Destiny 2 just came out not even one year ago & it’s even more messier than Destiny 1 back in its first few months, I don’t get why they think it’s a perfect time to start on destiny 3. I never understand bungies Logic & I never will.🤦🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️

6 AntwortenIt's like you kids don't know anything about business and human behavior....they will win most of you fools back with in the next 12-18 months. They will come out with patches and fixes to this half ass game....gamers have short term memory. Then they will fly alot of YouTubers and podcast people in and give them free stuff to 'Win them back'.....then these PR monkeys will make 10+ videos each talking about how great bungo is. Then by the time Destiny 3 pre-order campaign starts up, you fools will be back in their grasp with talks of how 'We have learn our lesson!!' and D3 will be 4x bigger then D2.....lmao Then the cycle begins once again.

Usually a small group of developers can do better than a massive group of developers because there is less dependency or something.

They need more community managers but we are talking about a company that won't even implement a ticket system , they much rather people talk in forums and now when so many are upset about something, the people collaborate on the issues making a uproar . And all could be avoided with a ticket system , it's just mind boggling Why isnt a ticket system in place to save them from themselves, But who am I? It's not like I have worked in gaming my self or anything.( Sarcastic remark) I was once a community manager and a game moderator for zqgame shadowland online , since shut down as zqgame sold to kongregate ,I EVEN offered help in database fix for the lost sector door that caused the throttle . The door works with flags in the database with a little scripting , basically if they set the door to have a flag from the chest, and on zoning creates a new LS instance so the boss is still alive when trying to exploit, this makes the door impossible to open unless the boss is killed as it already seems the chest is flagged to the boss, the real problem is it reloads the same instance on exploit through that one door . This fix could be done in 3-8 hours maybe a day at most , depending on how it's setup This fix should not take longer as bungie tells us its coming next month , it's a lie ( sorry bungie) But , what do I know It's just sad to see this happen with 1 bad decision after another .

Destiny 2 had a massive player base even before it launched because the destiny 1 players were devoted to the franchise. Even the early reviews were pretty positive, but Bungie just keep on pissing all over the players, showing nothing but disrespect to the fan base that kept the game alive for 3 years. After the abortion that is D2, who in their right mind would pre order or buy Destiny 3 on release? Bungie need to do something huge to save this game now, otherwise the only people playing D3 will be their mom's and Luke Smith's nieces.

Why bother. If Jason Jones rebooted Destiny 1 because "[b][i]he's a writer of course[/i][/b]" and his version of the games story wasn't implemented because of any bias or anything then obviously rebooting Destiny 1 was legit. Now that we are all well aware that Destiny 2 was, once again, rebooted... then of course all the work prior to D1 before its reboot is the same as D2 work prior to its reboot... LEGIT. Bungie stating that D2 functionally had to be what it was because it was based on 360/PS3 limitations, it totally makes sense that because D2 is from the core functionality limitations off of D1 that the next iteration of the game being from the functionality limitations of D2 off the functionality limitations of D1 will have the exact functionality limitations of the 360/PS3... and will be rebooted just like D1 and D2. So we are looking at D3, limited to the functionality of the 360/PS3, rebooted like D1 and D2... sold as new all over again. Sign me up I'm sold. 🙄

yea i think we're all in agreement here o.o' wellp guess its time to return to Defiance lol atleast that game has a chatbox so we can LFG like normal people and not have to go out searching for a bunch of tools because a bunch of tools wont add a CHATBOX TO THE TOWER....

The next expansions after going to be a HARD sell for anyone who isn't a season pass holder. And the only people who would be excited about destiny 3 would be the ones who either keep giving Bungie chances or think Bungie isn't doing a terrible job with how they're managing this drama.

(Please see the above bullet point as to why.) - Bungie thinks creating this type of franchise by two separate teams (Live Team/Main Team) with little to no way for those two teams to collaborate is a GREAT idea! - I will not be pre-ordering Destiny 3 cause it will not have any of the awesome future Destiny 2 features that we will come to praise.

3 AntwortenActually the quicker they work on D3 and finish, the quicker they can put D2 out of it's misery. It's clear their not going to add back Trials and IB to D1, so might as well hope that D3 won't be a heaping pile of garbage. What they really need to do is take D1 and use that as the template to make a newer, better game and dump all the changes that were implemented in D2, except for maybe the grab on to the cliff you are jumping to and pull yourself up mechanic. That's literally the only thing I can come up with right now to keep lol. I'm already not going to buy anything else attached to D2 at this point. That ship has sailed..
