Been thinking about this a long time. This really is the only thing that would get me back in the saddle with Bungie. Take resources from the D3 development team and reallocate them to the live team and complete the update list by spring and I’ll come back.
I think this is the only solution that’s gonna work for players like me. Here is some feedback, you should pay attention Bungie. If you did this it would indicate to players like me that you do actually care and are willing to pay for your mistakes. Up till now you’ve just been making us pay and we’re kinda done with that.
I know some idiots at Bungie right now are hedging their bets thinking: we’ve got their money for dlc 2 and by dlc 3 we’ll have a lot of D1 stuff back and people will come back for that and the big expansion. I think you’d be making a mistake in underestimating player resolve right now.
The most sure way to protect the franchise at this point is to push back D3 and get the updates done by spring. Just my opinion
Edit: Why didn’t Bungie ever challenge what we were demanding (bring back magic) with a promise of the awesome stuff they had planned for D2? Okay, they rebooted and changed things up, but surely they had some serious innovation in the pipeline for us....right? What was the plan or was this the plan all along? Something else to think about.
Edit 2: Yes, I am not a developer I don’t know how it works. I’m spitballing here people. I just want to play my favorite game and it be really good again. You can’t blame a guy for trying.

2 AntwortenBearbeitet von TheShadow-cali: 1/18/2018 4:40:10 PMNothing personal but there is no point to this knowing Luke is lead. He is creating this game so 4 year old's can play. This means you have to play how he wants you to play that also mean no real effort will be put into this game to make a game for teens and up. D3 will be the same thing you have right now if not worse. http://www.gamesradar.com/two-four-year-old-girls-inspired-destinys-revamped-quest-and-light-systems/ I mean, come on guys. Wake up... Look at lost sectors and how Bungie made the satatement
We heard you wanted fire teams for lost sectors
They already put a stupid timer in this game for other things creating a limit as if gamers were getting way too much of that "sweet sweet loot" in an Event a 5 year old can complete, and now with this update they say this.
Right now if a player opens more than 2 Chests in a 10 minute period they will not receive additional rewards from Lost Sector chests for 10 minutes. This does not prevent players from completing milestones related to Lost Sector chests.
So instead of dealing with their broken Token system and making a better system for the factions. Well just keep dumbing this game down. See, we listen... Edit: Hmm, just thought about something. Is right to teach 4 year old's how to gamble?

D2is finished no point to it anymore
-
D2 only gave me horrible experiences. The gameplay sucks, guns suck, everything sucks. Better off making a new game than trying to fix this.
-
5 AntwortenI didn't realise they were working on D3. How dumb can you get? D2 is a disaster, and they're working on a new game? F. U.! Who the hell is going to buy D3, considering the current state of D2? No way. You can keep D3. Give it to your 6 year old, it might be up to their standard.

1 AntwortenD3 that’s a laugh, do they think after this that players will ever buy into the bunglevision gravy train again. This is my last Destiny game, I was hyped up about the D2 release. I bought the game plus DLCs on the back of my enjoyment of D1. I have no enjoyment in D2. I’m afraid that like many others the next big expansion after the dlc will suffer massive profit loss as nobody with any sense is going to buy it. I work for my money and I ain’t wasting it so the muppets show can continue hyping up another Beta.

Bearbeitet von OrionNeb04: 1/17/2018 4:11:50 PMAgreed, waiting till Autum for items that should have been in the game at launch is just not an acceptable option. It is clear now that some at Bungie (mainly the hierarchy) are continuing to take this community for granted. Its time to show them that this minimal approach to D2 is not what we signed up for and because the only thing they listen to is the ringing sound of their tills we must ALL stop buying their products. #ItsTimeToBoycottBungie

8 AntwortenI talk a lot of shit here. Just like everyone else. The shit I talk I stand behind. I do love Destiny, I just don't love it in it's current state. I bought the game and it's expansions during preorder.. So I have the game. But, it's just crazy CRAZY, that they can shit the bed so hard and not be real with us. Every update and statement that they make is damn near playful and lighthearted. I don't want to hear that shit, Dammit Bungie just say "Look, we really fugged this up, we are ashamed of how we have taken advantage of our community. We hope you can forgive us and we will do what we can to make it up to you." If they were real with us instead of this standoffish, halfhearted "whoops" attitude, then I would come back. To be honest I can't promise I wont pop it in and play occasionaly. But, the days of dropping money on preorders and being a day one player are over for me. It doesn't matter what they do now. BTW. Don't worry about the haters OP. They are just puppets for the game, fanboys. You matter, I matter and every other gamer matters. We may not bankrupt bungie by leaving, but fugg the people talking shit. We have a right to be upset.

Bearbeitet von StormBlaze: 1/18/2018 6:39:07 PMAfter the unmitigated debacle that we’ve witnessed (yet again) this week it is clear that the community’s patience has hit another new low point. I’m starting to think that waiting until September for fixes (when you’ll have to shell out another $40 to be able to fully enjoy the changes) is frankly not good enough at this point. Honestly, this shit needs to be made right by the time DLC 2 drops. And if that means reallocating resources and/or pushing the paid content back a month or two then so be it. You think when they go to fire up their Twitch hype streams with the current state of things that’s gonna be pretty? Lol no...bring your popcorn. As for D3...sorry given how things are that shouldn’t be on any radar screens anywhere at this point. The way things stand right now, that game is DOA.
-
The game is done man, there’s really nothing they could do in an update, dlc or hot fix that can make the game good. It’s just too late.
-
2 AntwortenI am wondering about the low content in D2! Havent they said that the High Moon Studios and Vicarious Visions are helping the Bungie Studio with D2? Or atleast with making more content? How in the hell can 3 (!) studios, not be able to bring a lil bit more in short time? Or a few fixes.. Perhaps i am wrong about the infortmation, but still wondering about it if its true!
-
I am really surprised that they have only got the live team dedicated to saving this game, or that’s how it seems. This game/franchise is at its lowest moment both from a player count and perception. They need to be all hands on deck to save this shiteshow.
-
1 Antwortenlets take a look... most people bought D2 based on D1 latest Dlc.... most people will avoid D3 based on D2... bungie is done.

2 AntwortenBearbeitet von UltraRage101: 1/17/2018 10:51:31 PMWhy is Bungie throwing away there reputation i don't get it.
-
2 AntwortenThey can’t push back D3, reading being is that they have a contract with Activision and have to release content or a game during a certain period. That’s why D2 was rushed because Bungie didn’t want to be penalized. Sad to say. Worse thing Bungie ever did was signed that stupid contract.
-
1 AntwortenStop D2 and continue D1, It’s a far better game.
-
1 AntwortenScrap d2 admit it's dead
-
Yea d3 for what lol
-
They already have your money cry more itll change nothing stop hoping and waiting and go play something else .
-
2 AntwortenThey may as well just stop all together on D2 and put all effort into D3, since D2 is in a unreasonable state. and if it is their last Activision contract, they may as well give it all they have on D3 development, as after all it will be their last straw to bring the game to the light. THey could finally bring a game worthy from the start. I would rather see they do less in a game from the start, than so much and pointless. I am in no way endorsing D3 development, but with current state of D2 I do not see a reason worthy investing.

Bearbeitet von DonnyVBaybay: 1/18/2018 8:38:21 PMIm honestly hoping they are working hard at d3 and it isnt a flop like d2

1 AntwortenI would rather they just stop.

1 AntwortenMore like stop d2 and finish d1
-
1 AntwortenStop d3 scrap d2 and go back to supporting the actual -blam!-ing game that we all loved.
-

4 AntwortenI won't be getting D3 unless they redeem themselves. My money is too hard earned to be disrespected

1 AntwortenStop d3 and d2 this whole thing needs a complete reboot
