If this is true then it looks like Bungie is going to ignore the entire 3-4 week campaign on Twitter and the forums and keep Eververse.
I guess we just wait till Thursday to find out officially and if they did in fact ignore us, then if they changed Eververse to only be cosmetic items.

55 AntwortenWait, you actually thought a forum movement would get Bungie to remove eververse?! LMAO!

Eververse isn't the problem. Its fine for emotes and occasional items like dawning gear and trivial cosmetic stuff. The problem is Bungie decided to use eververse as a storefront for things that should have went into the loot pools. Like ghost, sparrows, and ships. As for armor in Destiny 2? Who cares. Its all pretty much the same exact armor regardless of if it comes from a faction, a vendor or a drop. Useful armor variety is Destiny 2's biggest weakness at this point, along with lack of endgame specific rewards. Eververse is just a lazy way for Bungie and lazy casual players to do stuff.

I don't think their plan was to remove eververse. But to make only the best items available through in-game accomplishment and make it less RNG based to earn items, that would be a good choice to fix Eververse, instead of remove it. Because they're not going to remove it.

Bearbeitet von Dunkinuts: 1/10/2018 5:13:26 PMIm on board with the #removeeververse, but not for a second did I think it would be removed! What I wanted is for Bungo to see we are unhappy about Eververse and that the end game content should be rewarding (not cosmetics) and drop at the end of the event and have nothing to do with Eververse. Eververse can keep the cosmetic and give the end game proper rewards that are rewards, like weapons and armor assigned specific perks for the event you do, like Raids, strikes and Trials for example. So I will not be shocked or surprised that Eververse continues.

What a bunch of tools... Get back in the shed.

I wish i could live in this world of yours, where you get everything you want. Must be a magical place... You complain about something, along with half a dozen others and things get changed the way you want. Much wow.

4 AntwortenWhen I was growing up, throwing a fit kicking and screaming while rolling around on the floor never helped to get what I wanted. So I don't understand your surprise.

20 AntwortenEververse was always just cosmetic

Only retards actually thought they would remove eververse considering silver is a PS store top seller.

Get it through your thick skulls already: THEY WILL NEVER REMOVE EVERVERSE The most you should expect is a change, not removal.
Sometimes, I really wonder if the Destiny community are the bigger idiots than the Destiny devs.
LMAO. Looks like the kicking and screaming approach didn't work.

You saw the post that Dmg responded in. You completely missed the post Cozmo made about addressing it?

My only gripe with EV and Bungie is that I think the drop rates for armor from the Dawning was messed with. I don't care they have a vendor that takes real money. Smartphone games have been doing this for years. Just feel like sparrows, ghosts, the occasional sword or cape was all that dropped for me. Now I did dismantle things to get the silver dust for the few armor pieces that I was able to get. Fix the drop rates and as fast as I am concerned EV can rock on.

Just don't buy anything from Eververse. Ever. That will send more of a message. If they just made everything that's in Eververse available as drops from normal play, people wouldn't hate on it so much. The problem is the greedy thinking behind it. Eververse can stay as far as I'm concerned, just make everything available through normal play, and they can still have the OPTION for people to pay to get what they want.
-
Oh no look at all that cosmetic gear which we can grind for or pay for... The only issue i have is that its RNG based, if it wasnt and there was a chance for people who love to grind to get all the gear and for people who want to pay to get everything and no duplicates then it would be fine.
-
...and you're surprised by this????????
-
It is still hilarious you thought they would just remove it at a stroke. PMSL...

Bearbeitet von AntonioS1000: 1/10/2018 8:51:41 PMHow is this even related to "listening" to people who want to remove Eververse? There is no correlation. At best there are people who have to get big bosses somewhere to agree to tweak Eververse. To do that, they have to meet, gather, gather data, discuss/create a game plan to present to the big bosses and likely include alternatives because just removing Eververse will probably not fly. These things take time, while Crimson days has likely been in the works well before this forum exploded.
