I thought more players would join but it looks like they went and got other games.
It was 1.4 million
Now it's 1.2 million

I'm guessing you don't have any friends or family to spend holidays with and/or you're too poor to take holiday vacations. If this was not the case, you would understand a 14% drop in the amount of daily players.
-
It would have been interesting to see if you had the numbers over Xmas for D1 yr2 and yr3 to compare.
-
Now it's 1.1

1 AntwortenNo one take Christmas breaks where you are from?
-
I’m not sure what happens in your part of the world... But in mine a good proportion of people go away on holiday over Christmas. My neighbourhood has only started filling up this week as people return to work. Perhaps something to take into account before making statistical assumptions. Happy 2018

Pvp is easy as shit in this game my 7 year old got 30 kills yesterday
-
1 AntwortenYou know, even if I'm the only player left on this game by late 2018. I'll still play because I've been looking at the backstory of D2 and have realized that it will eventually get to D1 level of endgame and content. Just not as soon as everyone is begging it to be.

1 AntwortenFrom what I remember, the last 3 years at Christmas time the player numbers would spike upward from the new console/Destiny players opening their presents, which of course they wanted to play right away. Am I remembering this correctly?

2 AntwortenBearbeitet von owenstring06: 1/2/2018 8:55:29 AMI’m at 335 on all 3 characters. The forge weapons are not unique or powerful. There is no “must have” gear or guns... why grind??? There’s literally 2 skill trees... I have every exotic (not hard to do) So yes.. I put it down. CODww2, Overwatch, and so many good games out there.. I’m not alone.. the numbers totally make sense.. the game is boring..step it up Bungie

I discovered rocket league I probably won't be coming back till the next everdlc

Correct me if I'm wrong but those.are individual guardians.... It's actually much less and spread across 3 platforms

3 AntwortenBearbeitet von bronze189: 1/3/2018 4:04:22 AMSince they are sitting at 300,000 a day now compared to when they had over 1.4 million daily in October and they have a all around population of 8 million players in total mean that from October to now they lost 21% of their community and from the start of the game that started with 7 million at the beginning day one (they got to 8 million after the pc release and holiday) they are sitting at a loss of 96% of their players Remember folks no joke day one 7 million people logged in, then after the days went by it dropped to 4.5 million logging in daily i think a week after releasing, then to 2 million after the raid hit.... then to 1 after the pc release (which is harsh considering they just released their PC version so i guess not that manny PC players bought it) and then to now sitting at 300,000 on all three platforms combined. Sad. Btw destiny tracker stopped updating their population numbers in October so here is the real current update on the daily log ins fellas. https://guardian.gg/2

Spending time with the family or got a Switch.
-
Cuz theyre spending time with family on xmas break. Theyre coming back with additional xmas newbs that got their D2 as gifts.
-
They dont need 1 million + to keep playing, just that many to keep buying.
-
29 AntwortenStop getting your info from destiny tracker they don’t update their numbers anymore since October 27th 2017. https://guardian.gg/2 this is updated right here. They have 300,000 players on all platforms PC, ps4, and xbox. Do a google search on “destiny tracker stoped updating their daily player population” and their are thousands of articles on it you could even see them saying it when you tried to go to the population page on their website but they removed it and still wont update it. Copy the link to your tab so you wont forget and to keep yourself from spreading false info to the masses. https://guardian.gg/2

"You're WELLcome!!😃"
2018 the year of gratuitous gratuity
2 Antwortencurious... does the amount of players that Destiny have lost since release correspond in any way with the amount of brain cells that you seem to lose with each new post you publish? there's got to be a mathematical equation of sorts to break this down. let's see here... (0.07%*1.4)-180... nope. Destiny losing players makes more sense than the amount of brain cells that you seem to lose with each new post. CONGRATULATIONS!!

1 AntwortenSeek help viper. You need it. Badly.

5 AntwortenChristmas... that holiday where the majority of people spend time with their family instead of playing video game? Damn, you’re right. Destiny is dying. 🙄
