A huge amount of the weapons created are never used. Why is this the case?
You earn them and either store in the vault or dismantle. What is the point in having weapons in the game that are so useless they are nullified.

6 AntwortenExactly. And do you know why they removed weapon rolls? To balance the guns individually so if there was a bad guy they could buff it or nerf it if it was too strong. So there are a handful of guns in the game people use uriels gift mida Nameless midnight origin story sins of the past last hope and not many more. Where is all the so called balancing that killing random rolls is supposed to let happen??? Most of the other guns are bad because they don't have good perks or they're just bad but give one of those guns random god roll and I'll use my triple tap and firefly or explosive rounds on my Haunted earth and it'll take place of my Nameless midnight in a heartbeat.

the fuking game sucks
-
Static rolls ensure that only a select few weapons will be used. The rest are condemned to mediocrity.
-
Fixed rolls and one less perk node than D1 legendary weapons. Our weapons are fixed roll blue standard gear from D1..... lol
-
2 Antworten2 primary and no random rolls is so stupid who the hell in bungie think this is a good idea in a RPG shooter

“We want to make the next Better Devils that drops feel better and more rewarding for the player than the first.” -Luke Smith
how is he getting paid for this?
-
Really wish random rolls were here, would've fixed at least 80% of these guns with so much potential too.
-
14 AntwortenBecause when they make good weapons they get nerfed because this community can't accept when they've been outplayed.
-
1 AntwortenIt's because the perk pool is tiny and largely ineffective. Because so many perks are missing and unique ones are so far and few in between, that s also why Exotics mostly suck too; They just do things we had on average in D1 but don't have on average in D2
-
1 AntwortenIt's the fixed perks. If strike specific loot did make it into the game do you think that would really matter? You play the strikes till you get that specific loot then the next time you leave the game and matchmake again till you get into a strike whos loot you haven't gotten, then once you have them all, your done because the perk rolls are fixed.

Do 90% of weapons suck or are 10% of weapons great?

51 AntwortenAll the guns I need: Nameless Midnight Better Devils Uriel’s Gift Perfect Paradox Merciless It Stared Back Sins of the Past Nothing else matters.
-
Good weapons with static rolls: Midnight, manannan, better devils, curtain call Uriel s gift... Good weapons with random rolls: All
-
Same in Destiny 1, especially when the meta changed - the my opinion this in more relevant in PvP, in PvE you can get buy with most guns
-
1 AntwortenI can make any weapon work in PVE
-
Closer to 99.04%.
-
10% of weapons are good? I think you are being generous.
-
Only 90% wow bungie is doing well, didn’t realise it was that good
-
1) (not a reason but) It's always been this way. 2) We need the shards. 3) Content, people are crying over the lack of it. 4) One Guardian's trash is another's treasure. 5) Weapon parts
-
1 AntwortenHave to say I agree. Pointless making twenty pulse rifles, two of which are slightly better... 18 discarded!
-
5 AntwortenI gotta agree with you there I've had the same Primary and Secondary since September
-
1 AntwortenThis game and all its weapons suck
-
Suck is harsh for the disparity. Mostly all weapons are just mediocre and interchangeable. D2 is just a lot more bland than D1. But on the bright side, inventory management is easier since you can just dismantle everything without any worries.
-
There are a lot of good weapons, it's just that there are a few perks that are so good that they make weapons without them almost obsolete. A perk that I've been pining about is Explosive Rounds. It's so good in PVE that it makes any gun without it look and feel like nerfed guns. Explosive Rounds increases the damage on a gun in PVE so much that a gun with Explosive Rounds actually surpasses the damage/impact of the next higher arch-type. Why would I ever use "Does Not Compute" or "Garden Progeny" for anything serious in PVE when "Namless Midnight" does MORE damage per bullet than they do, AND shoots faster?
-
I find it more likely that 90% of weapons don't fit your play style.
