I take no credit for any of this and I am simply trying to bring it to light in the forums. Recently a video but recently a video on youtube by CoS Gaming, where he does the maths of how much it would cost to get all items from the Eververse store, he uses averages and is very lenient in the numbers he uses to make this calculation. This personally almost made me turn away from Destiny, but the game is still fun and all of the items are purely aesthetic, so I didn't mind.
Overall, Huge props to CoS Gaming who took the time to make this video, this must be known by anyone who is interested in buying engrams in the future.
Also I hope the up-coming update to the Eververse solves this problem allowing players to play D2 without constantly having the urge to buy engrams.

Wow. That’s stupid. There’s nothing in game you have to pay for to get. You buy the game and expansions. If you’re spending anything beyond that you might want to look a little closer to home for the problem because it isn’t Bungie or Eververse. THEY give you everything for free just for playing.

What do you expect if you wanna rush things .. then you should pay for it While others farming there buts off for that Even i getting enough engrams thru playing the game iam not in an rush to buy stuff because of the free stuff that is dropping Cosmetics -- you say it right It has nothing to do with the lvl you are That you dont get the stuff instant from eververse doenst mean it needs to removed that will affect my game aswell .. I dont like the silver curency thats true but stuff that are still free can't be removed .. Removing Eververse = removing the free stuff aswell Delete the silver currency iam ok with that .. but dont remove eververse in total

Yeah, this is what happens when you take any similar MTX System, and is only true for the new player starting with nothing. And its not like it matters when the system has zero impact on player performance. Getting that cool weapon ornament doesn't make you a better shot. Subtract the mountains of bright engrams you get for free, and run the calculation over a 10 hour play-week since launch, look at how much money it costs to get everything in a season, and you may have something worth looking at. If you're having urges to buy engrams, and don't want those urges. Take a step back from the situation and really examine it, identify how you are being manipulated, and learn to recognize it so systems like these don't affect you anymore. Right now, if you are buying silver, it is because you either: - Want everything and don't have time to grind. - Want a few things, but don't have a lot of time to play - Want a few things, but you are impatient and don't want to wait for them to show up on the weekly bright-dust rotation, so you roll the dice. (This is what the Eververse is betting on, and why loot boxes are so profitable)

3 Antwortenlol. i see the dumbest stuff on these forums.

43 AntwortenLol. I got most of it for free by just playing. Get rekt conspiracy theorists.

2 Antwortenmore then half of the items in destiny are shit and more then half of evererse items are shit why the -blam!- is everyone so sad about all this.. i hate microtransactions just as much as everyone.. HERE IS AN IDEA WHY DONT YOU JUST SAVE YOUR BRIGHT DUST UNTIL SHE SELLS THE ITEMS YOU WANT!? THEN YOU CAN JUST BUY THEM :O
-
12 AntwortenTrue, but OMG this is dumb. You don't need ALL the loot! A sensible person would save up dust for the few things they really really want and wait for Tess to sell them
-
So you want specific loot for each activity you do? Complete a certain strike, here have the same armor. Complete a weekly challenge, here the same gun. Every single time you do it. Eververse didn't create slow ability recharge. Armor perks to help you charge your ability. Crappie exotics, the stupid 2 primary weapons for a load out. Nightfall timer. Worry about that shit instead of something the is really not important as eververse.
-
7 AntwortenThing is, What kind of f***tard would want all the items in the game?? Half of them dont even look good.
2+2 is 4 -1 thats 3 quick maths
-
5 AntwortenWhy not focus on the issues of the last months instead of Eververse??? There are so many things wrong with this game that are more important than what Eververse is selling. People didn't quit playing the game 2 months ago because of Tess, they quit because of fixed rolls, nightfall, endgame, buddy system, pvp and more. Tess should be on the bottome of their list of things to fix because say they get rid of Tess and put that stuff into the game? Still a boring, stripped down, casual, let down of a game.... Props to this guy for the time he put into his video for sure but seriously lets jump off the bandwagon here and get back to what is more important then once those things are fixed we can move onto fixing eververse.

Already watched this and he is inaccurate.

I spent $22,000.00 and didn’t get any items. Perhaps I should not have used Monopoly money! 😂🤣😂 HINT 1: Fake items for sale, use Fake money...

3 Antwortenthats not to bad. thats my weekly earning lol

Funny I spent 10$ and a bit of grinding and got all the armor sets on 3 characters so you can’t math bitch

It could, if you were a gullible moron.

5 AntwortenBearbeitet von fatymatpat: 12/30/2017 2:15:09 AMThe people with the widened buttholes from Bungie constantly riding them will refuse to understand this video. I’ve had people watch this and still comment me back about how they won’t follow someone else’s opinion, I guess actually doing the math becomes irrelevant if you see it on YouTube or just the internet in general.. I don’t understand why, at this point I’ll just assume anyone who still wants these micro-transactions in the game just want to be able to argue with people. Or better known as trolls. Edit: I found someone with a loose butthole lmfao
