I remember when eververse was created to fund the live team and let us tell bungie we supported them, now it’s something that takes advantage of the players and removes content that should be obtained through the bare bones end game.

Bearbeitet von BoomboxCollosus: 1/9/2018 5:17:48 AMMy proposal: Please be respectful and hear me out. A REAL solution to the Eververse dilema. A win, win for players AND Bungie. https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/241711075

They got your money already. 8 million people paid 60-220 bucks for this game. Guess what at year 2. You will be the first to buy whatever they sell. You log in daily to the game. You cry on the forums. Stop playing if it’s causing you this much heart ache.

I won't. Unless that add some more stuff

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von Jvp WReNCh: 12/28/2017 3:26:40 AMRemove a guaranteed revenue stream for the off chance that one random forum dweller will buy an expansion? Yeah eververse is here to stay.

You do realise that your proposal is not even a compromise, right? Actually the whole topic is you stating you will do nothing in return for Eververse's removal. Without you making some promise/guarantee to buy future DLC what incentive would they really have?

4 AntwortenBearbeitet von Dr. Hard On: 12/28/2017 9:14:37 AM“We must win Max528101’s favor!” Exclaimed Luke Smith as he gathered around the Bungie staff. Luke glared at the patrolling Activision guardsmen blocking the hall to the Eververse command chamber. He knew that what he was about to do would surely lead to his death, but he had to try; the state of Bungie was at risk. In a swift, singular motion, Luke stood proudly and cried out, “For the Forums!” And the rest of the Bungie staff charged the guards. Gunfire rang out as one by one, Luke’s most elite were cut down, but to Luke, their sacrifice was buying him time needed to shut down Eververse. He sprinted through a long hallway, bullets ringing past him and guards shouting indecipherable commands to the escaping Bungie staff. Behind him, Luke could hear members of his staff faltering, unable to protect themselves from Activision’s barrage, but Luke made it past the final door. His eyes teared up as he prepared to shut the door, half a dozen of his remaining staff were still on the other side. He took one last look at the hall and his eyes met the eyes of DeeJ, He made it! Luke thought, his hands combatted the feeling of waiting just a few more seconds so DeeJ could make it too. But he saw the guards behind DeeJ, nearly triple the number that were there previously. Tears running down his face, Luke shut the door, “Wait!” He heard DeeJ cry out, but it was too late; the chamber was now sealed and Luke was alone. At the center of the chamber was the final shutdown button; should he press it, Eververse would shut down, but the Bungie headquarters would self destruct, killing any surviving Bungie staff, all of those pristine ViDocs Bungie had ever made and Luke Smith as well. Without a moment’s hesitation, Luke hit the button and alarms rang out. The building began to shake and fire began to explode from walls and spread throughout the chamber. His eyes were closed and Luke smiled, he was finally free. With what little time he had left, Luke looked to the cosmos and whispered, “This one’s for you, Max528101. Here’s hoping you buy future Destiny content from here on out.”
This was -blam!-ing worth it.
9 AntwortenReally? It will still be garbage....which is why I dont get all the fuss about eververse.... They need to fix the fundamental issues of the game, not the fact u can buy a few useless cosmetic items or not....
-
but why? the game still sucks without eververse... but maby if their main focus is making a great game instead of a gambling system, maby they can save the game. lets hope so. but i have no more hope left for this franchise

2 AntwortenThis is basically the view of all of my friends and I... so, some eight people. Hardly enough to make a dent, but it's an attitude I hope more people will come to appreciate and perhaps even to adopt. I want to see Destiny succeed. It has (had) the potential to be the coolest universe in gaming in like... well, forever to date. And Bungie/Activision are manhandling it

It is a MYTH that Eververse doesn't affect you. They have PURPOSEFULLY and SYSTEMATICALLY been nerfing XP and loot drops the whole time with Eververse as it's main focus and hub of it's cause much like a gambling simulator which throttles chance and progress for real money to retain and monetise content. This DLC and progression capped "dawning " event only furthers the already known facts that meaningful content is NO longer the focus with progress caps at every turn and lackluster, watered down endgame, long term effort. #EververseVengence -When you play a game online, check your friends list.
