Prometheus Lens will be useless in PvE tomorrow and the prestige raid will be useless because it will drop 300 power gear.
Glad those of us who actually supported the game are being treated like second class citizens thanks to a bunch of scream man children and all your -blam!-ing refunds.

Edit:Edit: After scouring the forums Ive found an astounding number of discussions of people saying they currently arent playing game nor have they been playing it. In relation to DLC lockouts. A problem they all seem to argue over "pricipal".
A problem they all admit isnt affecting them. But is a matter of "principal". Amazing.
So now, myself and others who actually are playing the game are out not only the prestige raid power increase but also faction rallies because of people who had no intention on playing, who arent playing and likely will never play again regardless of "being locked out"!

I like how these children view this as Ironic. This guy is definitely right, it’s sad that people feel entitled to everything in this community. If we paid for the content... and you did not. We get the content... and you do not. Now, I understand that you petty kids were locked out of content but, did you really complete that content before? I would like an in-depth statistical report regarding the percentage of player who have stopped playing D2 and their completions of prestige activities. If you can show me that these specific players occupy a significant proportion of the community, I will support them. But until then stop.

2 AntwortenAbout the lens, do you really think pvp should be reduced to some kind of cs laser tag? Basically it came down to who had one and who didn't. I joined into a game part way in, with lens equipped, no one else had one and got 24 kills no deaths. I'm not that great at fps (maybe 17 years ago, not anymore) and that one weapon with me alone humbled a whole team. Still think it's not overpowered?

First off, if you thought Bungie was just going to leave Prometheus Lens as some unique exotic, that was your mistake. Just look at what they did to us Warlocks with our Karnstein Armlets. Didn't hear anyone shouting about that and it got nerfed into Sameness. Bungie isn't interested in unique, feel-good weapons or armor. I thought this was clear by now. Second, I would have shared in your frustration about the gear dropping back down to 300 if the infusion system wasn't a thing. But as it were, you can easily get that gear up to 335. But to your main point. The issue isn't with the community clamoring for these things, it is Bungie's inability to see past the Eververse to have the foresight to create a 3rd mode, Prestige+, to go hand in hand with Normal and Prestige. So while your anger is justified, it is just directed in the wrong direction. Choices, variety, options. These are the things Bungie should have learned back before even the Taken King, but instead they have spent so much time up Eververse's ass that for some reason this incredible concept is only now hitting them.

What choice do I have? Yes, all those people who paid the extra $20,000 will be upset but, sheesh, it’s not like anyone expected me to ADD NEW value to their cars for that added money. I’ve ALWAYS just recycled content, I mean cars, so I’m not the bad guy here.

Perhaps you should be mad at Bungie for making and implementing illogical decisions to begin with. Despite the whines and salt from these forums, Bungie makes the final decisions for their game, not the community. So they are ultimately to blame.

Awe. Babygirl don’t cry. I know your boyfriend bought you the game and dlc for free and you didn’t have to actually spend any time or money on it, but for some of us adults who have real jobs and families, we don’t like to spend money on things and then lied to about the actual features. When you pay for something and then someone takes it away, that’s called stealing babe! But go ahead and victimize yourself and call the rest of us idiots and crybabies, I’m sure that crying and jerking off with your tears will make you feel better anyway.
