I didn't say not to post them, I'm saying don't fill the forum with the same shit, reply to a forum to show that you are having the same issue, instead of making a new topic title "THIS GAME BROKEN" and stuff

That's what the help section is for. Feel free to stay out of the help section...

.... Some people are thick as thick can be. As OP said, Post and upvote an existing thread with the same content as what you wanted to write. A good example of people not knowing how a forum works is to have a look at the amount of "Where is XUR!!!!1111!!!" threads that are out there today, I've seen the correct answer in a couple of them but due to that those drown in the sea of repeated shit people won't see the answer and keep asking, in a new thread that is, of course.
-
So then complain about the 'Where's Xur' threads. Or the 'upvote if you' threads. Or the multitude of daily shitposts we experience on here on a daily basis. Don't complain about people actually providing feedback.
-
.... Are you? Do you see what we are saying? Don't duplicate threads, there are clearly not enough admins on these forums and therefore a loads of duplicates makes no sense, compile it into a thread with loads of feedback and then they can take the measures required to have it fixed without to have to try and find every duplicated thread that is buried here.
-
Ideally, but my point is prioritise. If you want to clean up the forums, good luck to you. But reducing the number of feedback threads is an awful place to start...
-
Reducing the amount of duplicate threads is a fantastic place to start.
-
Reducing the amount of shitpost threads would be an even better place to start. OP is complaining that after a few days, the forums are already cluttered with feedback threads. That's a stupid complaint to make, there should be feedback threads this soon after release. How else do you think Bungie got 1.1.1 out so quickly?
-
I dont care if its a shitthread or Angel darks diary, a duplicate is a duplicate and should not be an occurrence on the forum. Feedback is good but let's be honest here, most feedback threads are just cursing and shittalking anyway. The good feedback threads with constructive content is being lost because a bunch of teenagers are having a hissyfit and making the same thread over and over again.
-
If the report function was worth using, I'd have recommended using it. But unless you want to report them under Insults/Disrespect, you've got little option than to drown out shitposts with feedback.
-
Well there is only two solutions to this really, either Bungie hires more mods (not super likely is it) or we the community do as most other communities does and call out duplicates and make it a habit to point people to the right thread or wiki, I have 10k posts in the WOT forums, 2k in BF1, 4k in the ARMA 2/3, 2.3k in DayZ(rip), so on so forth. I have never ever encountered a forum and community that was this unhinged and repeatedly, we all want changes in the game, that's why we are here isn't it? But they will only listen and take it in if there are less CAPS and swearing and more constructive solutions for the problems the game is facing
-
Mods on the forums are volunteers, no reason why we couldn't have more except 'cos Bungie'. Good Luck with your crusade, just a shame that you want to cripple feedback threads first...
-
Ah that's interesting, didn't know they were volunteers. And no i do not want to cripple feedback threads first, And it wouldn't be crippling, if anything it's the feedback section that have the most to gain from being categorized and done in an orderly fashion.
