1. Is there any chance of the Destiny 1 weapon system; Primary, Special, Heavy, returning?
2. Is there any chance of getting back the ability to directly choose our Crucible game mode? (clash, rumble, Mayhem, etc)
3. Is there any chance of Crucible matches that aren't just 4v4 returning? (Doubles, 3v3, 6v6, etc)
4. Is there any chance of random perk rolls on all non-exotic and raid/trials weapons returning? (destiny 1 style)
5. Is there any chance of ever seeing PvE & PvP separated, so they can be balanced independently?
6. Is there any chance of Destiny 2 going back to a Destiny 1 feeling of power? (Faster TTK, faster pace of gameplay, feeling of being a powerful superhero)
7. Is there any chance of seeing Destiny 1 style subclass trees return, so that players have more freedom to customize their build/subclass?
8. Is there any chance of having Nightfall timers optional? (As in the timer expiring doesn’t end the Nightfall, maybe tie it to a challenge)
These are the most important questions that I would like answered by the dev team, but feel free to add to it in the comments.

EDIT2:I just want to take the time to say thanks to everyone that is up voting and commenting on this post. I’ve been on Bungie.net since 2004 and I’ve always been a Bungie fan and Destiny is my hobby, how I spend time with friends or just relax. I want to love Destiny 2 as much as I love Destiny 1 and that’s why I made the post. It really is a sigh of relief to see that so many others in the community want the same things that I do from the game, so if anyone has anything to add, let me know in the comments.
Thanks everyone.

2 AntwortenLol bungie could answer these questions in their entirety in one sentence “Go play D1 kid, in that game, lies everything you want” Done There you have it This is a completely new game...sort of They aren’t scrapping it Get over that fact

If my Guardians just got to use their abilities more and they were stronger ( at least in PvE) I'd overlook everything else I don't particularly like (weapon system, armour sets determining your build which reduces options for how you look relative to your build, slower/less fluid movement of Guardians, static gear rolls, mod system being far too shallow, strikes being boring in their repetition I quite like the actual strike missions though, duplicates which they're addressing only in relation to exotics from the sound of their post, abundance of exotics and their weakness and from their post they seems to be making the exotics flow more freely-which I don't get...). They've mentioned some fixes to various things but nothing addressing my core peeve with D2 so might not be tempted back despite having paid for whatever comes in the CoO dlc, maybe it'll feel like a lot of content if I come back when the Rasputin stuff drops. Separately I suspect the DLCs could feel pitiful in their added content. I'm more for mechanic changes anyway, don't care to be carrying my current Guardians through different environments getting different-looking guns and gear which (probably) doesn't do anything different to other gear I already have. Must be hard to balance this game, there are players that like being space-magic weilding beings of power that occasionally use a weapon, and then there are those that want the game to be primarily a generic shooter.

Let me answer all of those questions in Spanish for you..... no ;)
-
Yeah, I like all this stuff. Let’s add raid n trials specific perks on raid and trials loot.
-
Friendship. You forgot friendship, damn it.
-
4 AntwortenKeep timers on nightfalls. We don’t need more glorified public events. That’s what the regular strikes are for.
-
guys and girls Did you just assume my gender?
-
Every one of those questions, if answered yes or no, would put Bungie in a situation that they don't want to be in. They don't want to make promises that they want to keep, but then cant end up keeping. Might want to rephrase "is there any chance..." Other than that, that is all information i'd be interested in. Bump.
-
The answer to all those questions is no. This is a new game. Stop living in the past or play a different game.
-
1 AntwortenYou are a regular joe Bungie will not answer ya but if you were from a major media outlet or a famous streamer/YouTuber then they will answer ya. All what you've posted is important and backed by the community but as you can see nothing.

I️ concur, Destiny 2 seems to have such a lack of freedom and option compared to D1. It’s these questions that need to be answered correctly to keep the veterans of Destiny to stay with the franchise. (To all the fanboys, keep in mind the people criticizing the game’s current state where the OG fanboys, we just want this game to be as successful as it can be.) Thank you

Please get it through your heads people; THEY DONT GIVE A SHIT ABOUT MAKING US HAPPY. THEY ONLY WANT OUR MONEY AT THE EXPENSE OF THEIR LIES AND BULLSHIT. Stop giving them our time and money.

1 AntwortenDestiny 2 was destined to fail. Bungie won't reply.

Bungie is not going to reply .

1 AntwortenDidn’t they say that they were going to communicate more? Ain’t nothing changing. They’ll go back to once in a blue moon responding to some randoms obscure post about wanting something stupid that nobody’s ever asked for. “I’ll pass this along to the devs, thanks for the feedback”

Bearbeitet von Sporre 007: 12/1/2017 4:52:02 AMNo Yes Yes Yes Yes No No Yes Ta da. Answered. Anything that doesn't require reworking the entire game's balance and structure has a "chance" of happening.

1. Is there any chance of the Destiny 1 weapon system; Primary, Special, Heavy, returning? weapon system now have good balance in them. 2. Is there any chance of getting back the ability to directly choose our Crucible game mode? (clash, rumble, Mayhem, etc) possible in future 3. Is there any chance of Crucible matches that aren't just 4v4 returning? (Doubles, 3v3, 6v6, etc) possible in future 4. Is there any chance of random perk rolls on all non-exotic and raid/trials weapons returning? (destiny 1 style) maybe? 5. Is there any chance of ever seeing PvE & PvP separated, so they can be balanced independently? you mean in gun? i thought they push it in developer the idea of switching pve and pvp perks 6. Is there any chance of Destiny 2 going back to a Destiny 1 feeling of power? (Faster TTK, faster pace of gameplay, feeling of being a powerful superhero) NO, that will be boring. you will do everything solo. bungie what grouping over solo 7. Is there any chance of seeing Destiny 1 style subclass trees return, so that players have more freedom to customize their build/subclass? i also want this. this will make different varieties of playstyle 8. Is there any chance of having Nightfall timers optional? (As in the timer expiring doesn’t end the Nightfall, maybe tie it to a challenge) you cannot finish it on time? hahahaha that why it is a challenge. These are the most important questions that I would like answered by the dev team, but feel free to add to it in the comments. 8. VAULT INCREASE? we need more space for item collection EDIT Taken directly from today’s TWaB, Deej says: “ We’re actively monitoring the #Destiny2 and #Feedback portal for your thoughts. 3 AntwortenThe answer to all of those questions, well all but one is that yes players can simply can go play Destiny 1. As for separating PVE and PVP that has been addressed before D1 ever even released. Keeping your guardian universal across PVE and pvp is one of thier core principles for Destiny.
-
In my humble opinion CoO and all future content should be put on hold, a leader in Activision and Bungie should could come out and state that they have heard feedback from multiple sources and as of now their putting their roadmap completely aside til they get a major overhaul done to fix some specific issues the community, all of it, have dinged, and talked about to them for quite some while. But, my opinion.

3 AntwortenAll I hoped to have answered, 1.Will the crucible have more playlist options and modes? 2. Will the mod and armor system evolve to actually make a (Min-Max) meaningful? 3. Will the weapon system evolve to make my stacks of legendary duplicates useful? Three rather straight forward questions, none of which were answered, or really even addressed. So unfortunately my concerns are still as strong as ever that i will not be able to get my friends to return... and a quick P.S. I really hope your crucible Quitting system has a way to tell when people are disconnected against their will and when they leave... poor servers shouldn't punish us anymore than they already do...

1 AntwortenDon't forget faster killing killing kinetic/energy scouts pulse auto handcannon at d1 levels. Target .9s time to kill instead of 1.2s Current time to kill is an eternity compared to average human reaction time of .25s Teams shot is due to elongated defensive window and shorten offensive.
