UPVOTE TO HAVE BUNGIE ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS!
1. Is there any chance of the Destiny 1 weapon system; Primary, Special, Heavy, returning?
2. Is there any chance of getting back the ability to directly choose our Crucible game mode? (clash, rumble, Mayhem, etc)
3. Is there any chance of Crucible matches that aren't just 4v4 returning? (Doubles, 3v3, 6v6, etc)
4. Is there any chance of random perk rolls on all non-exotic and raid/trials weapons returning? (destiny 1 style)
5. Is there any chance of ever seeing PvE & PvP separated, so they can be balanced independently?
6. Is there any chance of Destiny 2 going back to a Destiny 1 feeling of power? (Faster TTK, faster pace of gameplay, feeling of being a powerful superhero)
7. Is there any chance of seeing Destiny 1 style subclass trees return, so that players have more freedom to customize their build/subclass?
8. Is there any chance of having Nightfall timers optional? (As in the timer expiring doesn’t end the Nightfall, maybe tie it to a challenge)
These are the most important questions that I would like answered by the dev team, but feel free to add to it in the comments.

[b]EDIT2:[/b]I just want to take the time to say thanks to everyone that is up voting and commenting on this post. I’ve been on Bungie.net since 2004 and I’ve always been a Bungie fan and Destiny is my hobby, how I spend time with friends or just relax. I want to love Destiny 2 as much as I love Destiny 1 and that’s why I made the post. It really is a sigh of relief to see that so many others in the community want the same things that I do from the game, so if anyone has anything to add, let me know in the comments.

Bearbeitet von Peg-Hauk-Warrior: 12/1/2017 2:21:08 PMThis what could work out for destiny 2 . 1 ) raid gear and raid weapons with raid perks on . 2) masterworks on weapons only . with god rolls on armour . 3) change the clan engrams so you only get normal gear from not raid or trials gear out of. 4) Bring back all planet's from destiny 1 to destiny 2 for PvP and pve . 5) more PvP and pve choices old mode from destiny 1. Ie. bring a 24 vs 24 PvP match only primary . The way this would work let's take mars as it is on destiny 1 ok 24 one side 24 the other 30 min battle for clan xp if they did this for clans. We could use one of destiny 1 old planet's. Ie moon or what ever the race you what to fight. Earth got fallen. Moon got hive. Venus got vex. Mars got Kabul. Each race could have a different level of difficulty Pve use destiny 1 old planet for big public event that could last up to 30 mins or more get good rewards from . 6) Take nightfall timer off Let me know what you think

Have they acknowledged anything yet? They are hemorrhaging players & Activision stocks are plummeting... with the cancel of the live stream, just curious if anyone has heard of anything. I stopped playing a month ago, I have 2 leveled and really dreading starting my warlock. It's just such a drag not to want to play!!!!! (I haven't even done a iron banner, nor the strike; not interested in 4x4 and all my peeps are back playing D1).

1 AntwortenThere is a way to have all of these changes: Understand that Destiny 2 is a new game and play Destiny 1 if you prefer that because you are literally asking for Destiny 1.

These are the issues that Bungie has been avoiding because most of them are nearly impossible to change with an update. For example, 4v4 multiplayer is a core concept of the game that the map design, weapon stats, recharge rates, and skill trees are all modelled around. It's not something that can just be changed without overhauling the entire game. This is a game that can't just be fixed like Destiny 1 was.

If they don't bring back the elements that made Destiny 1 so fun this game won't survive. So many players have left in such a short time; this 'overhaul' was a terrible, game-killing decision. Take what works and build upon it.

18 AntwortenI get the feeling, this guy does not understand this is the new Game style. It won't change. Adapt. Bungie have stated about new crucible content, private matches and other game types. Weapons rolls are no more, they are introducing weapon mods of some kind, will have to see how that affects the weapon types. 4v4 is hear to stay as it is the balance needed maybe they will introduce 6v6 as some sort of game type later. Nastalgia for D1 is okay, it happens. But this is a new game and direction with far more potential. They may speed up the charge rates with modes or abilities types later, maybe if they are reading posts. But gamers need to understand this is not D1 ,it's D2 .Bungie told everyone before launch they will do this, just lots did not read or listen. Still a great game and now you need to read and listen about the huge changes happening cause Bungie did mess up and cheated us too, but seems they are getting the message. Let's see how these changes make the game feel. Enjoy all.

Number 1. That there is destiny 2's biggest let down imo. Two primaries just feels rubbish.

Honestly I think we've reached the point where the future looks like this: 1-(Deej Voice:) Well the next DLC will contain far less new material than CoO but will have these updates that you've asked for making the Destiny 2 experience even GREATER than EVER! 2-(TWaB Voice:) And don't forget Destiny 3 will actually have all of these changes and will be a brand new game because we'll introduce a new enemy that destroys the city (again)! So we've now inched closer to getting back to D1...it's like the whole state of metas in D1 where it we went in a circus only to land back to the original point. Bravo Bungie....Bravo...you are indeed showing EA new ways to eff over the playerbase...

1 AntwortenIt's so painful to see that we all want things from D1 to return because of how bad D2 is at the moment... How do you go backwards so far? They focused way too hard on a specific audience and completely neglected the people who kept D1 alive in the first place. It's real shame. And about the timer... I think it's acceptable as a modifier so long as there are other modifiers as well that aren't timer related... Like, 10-20% of the modifiers should be time related while the others should be interesting/fun (a modifier like... say... "Touched By Malice: You deal double damage when your mag is half full and take damage until you reload" --- I know that could be better but it's something somewhat interesting!)

2 AntwortenI hear a lot of people talk about the separation of PvP and PvE. But, what I really want to know is when will there be a separation of Bungie's lust for Casuals and Destiny 2? I mean how hard was it to mess up the launch of Destiny 2 when Destiny the Taken King was a guiding light sitting in their own backyard? "It is like screwing up mashed potatoes...you boil the water...pour the packet..."
