MATE!!!! Did you watch the whole video???!?!?! He said that as a DLC CoO looked good, but than proceeded to say that there need many core flaws with D2 that need to be fixed...I honestly agree with him, CoO would be a lot better if D2 itself was a lot better.

7 AntwortenI'm going to buy it because I enjoyed d2 while I played it. I couldn't give a -blam!- about the xp , I was getting a crap load of engram's for free anyway, people should be happy we have a way to earn them without spending cash.

4 AntwortenDPJ has been really vocal on twitter about how shit Bungie has been lately. Always calling them out etc. I never liked DPJ before back when Destiny was good, but now that I've seen him be honest and stuff he's earned my respect. If he says it's worth the money then it might be! But we all know that what we really want are those QoL and endgame fixes.

So Slayerage makes a video about how Destiny 2 fails in a lot of ways, gets invited to the studio, plays part of the campaign for CoO and comes back and says how amazing it is. I mean, either CoO is really really good, or he had some talks behind closed doors.

2 AntwortenYou can't pay someone to say positive things about something, it's illegal. The person reviewing the product can say whatever they want about the product they reviewed. My mom is a freelancer, sometimes she gets emails for work, in almost all of those emails say the same thing if they're about reviewing a product. They say something like we'll pay you (blah blah blah) to review (blah blah blah). There has never been an email where it said, we'll pay you (blah blah blah) to pretend to review but only say good things about (blah blah blah). This post is idiotic and these forums are pure shit, no wonder I've stayed away. Like really "Boycotting Curse of Osiris" who is gonna do that.

just watched the video. he spends most the time complaining about the game, pointing out it's many flaws an offering suggestions to fix some of them. he then goes on to say. is the dlc worth the money? Yes. although would he buy the dlc with the game in its current state? No. a lot of changes need to be made. I'm really not his biggest fan, how he has 900k subs is beyond me. But this post is unfair to what he actually says here. he basically slags off Destiny the entire video lol.

3 AntwortenHonestly, this DLC looks wafer thin - $9.99 seems about right for what it is - there's really nothing new other than a story, some grindy weapons and armor and a half-baked raid. That public event looks ridiculous, to be honest - just running around, dunking like it's NBA 2k18...no thanks... I do think turning story modes into strikes is a great idea though and should be done with everything in the current game...they should also open up the Leviathan as a destination planet as well...no need to let all of those areas be reserved for only the story... All that said, I will still play whatever content is there (I did pay for it!) - but I honestly don't see myself playing this thing for very long after it's launch...there doesn't appear to be a lot here...

Do not buy the DLC. Acti-bung has proven repeatedly with Destiny 2 that they can't be trusted, and very clearly do not have the interests of the gaming community, let alone the D2 player base, at heart. Would you give money to someone who lies to you every time they speak? Then why give your money to these thieves and liars.

They aren't getting paid by bungie. They are getting paid by YouTube/ twitch or whatever from people viewing their content. They've chosen destiny as their main avenue of content and income so of course they are going to try and keep this titanic afloat.
