Im done... So Done
Let me start by saying that I am the LAST remaining person regularly playing destiny on my friends/clan list. I was still having fun with the game up until Iron banner came around again. I spent the first three days grinding matches until I had 400 tokens. I stuck with it no matter how many times I traded with someone using the same weapons (uriels,last hope, mida), was killed around corners, team shot by a firing squad, or had heavy stole after I took out the whole team to get into position for it. I figured it would all be worth it once I got some sweet sweet iron banner armor. After turning in 20 packages this is what i received: 7 fusion rifles, 6 auto rifles, 3 smgs, 2 grenade launchers, and two helmets... To add to my frustration, I received 4 rocket launchers as loot from leviathan this week. I have completed the raid 18 times and still don't have a full set of armor.. I'm just so done with this endless cycle of repetitive activities that give me the same stuff have already gotten hundreds of times. Bungie, you have just lost a day 1 player and a true grinder. I will not be buying the osiris dlc or any games you make in the future due to your empty promises and continuous let downs.

2 AntwortenWho remembers the real grind? It took me 5 months to get a full set of VoG armour and I needed that shit to hit the level cap.

yes i completely understand and am just as frustrated and disappointed in d2 as you are. I was introduced to this game last year and i absolutely fell in love with it. I was pacing back and forth frothing at the mouth because i couldnt wait for d2 to drop even though i was aware of the mess bungie was contending with. Now i have my precious and she is turning out to be actually disappointing. I admit im a casual gamer but destin was is all i play now smh i am ready to toss it into the lake of dispair.......this is my rant and im sticking to it....

14 AntwortenThats not a grinder...grinders from D1 are totally different. Imagine running the grasp run 40 to 50 times to get a good roll. Imagine trying to get a crux...20 iron banner packages isnt that bad. But either way, game sucks....its just not worth grinding for cosmetics.

A true grinder would spend 2 days in the rocket yard picking spinmetal even though you can buy the bloody stuff in the tower.

I feel as if a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders. It will, however, remain on my shelf -- for I'm mildly hopeful that someday it'd be worth re-downloading. :-)

This is the 2nd IB event for D2 enough is already given to us in this game so heaven forbid we require to grind a few months for a full set. During D1 it took a minimum of 3 events to get all the armor, Minimum of 4 to get the weapons. D2 has brought out the worst impatience I have seen in gaming yet.

I know that grind. I leveled up fwc in D1 from rank 3 to rank 108 or 109 after they got the Thoughtcrime clone since iron banner wouldn't give it to me. Then bungie released a patch and boom, got my ship. Just to find out I couldn't take it with me to D2. One of the many reasons I didn't buy D2. I'm still hopeful that something will change to where I'll be able to buy it without feeling ripped off.
