When it comes to situations like these, people are generalized based on what is most clearly shown. The destiny community for example is mostly seen as snowflakes and crybabies, or Overwatch's community is seen as cancerous because of how most of the players appear to be tryhards and disrespectful. Of course it isn't everyone but it is seen in the majority of the community. Thus the CoD community generalization. Though there are some who hold true to what they say, for the most part people go through with it anyway and it is shown in the copies sold, population numbers, and money it makes. I apologize if I offended anyone in my generalization and hope this clears things up.
