So set weapon mods- terrible idea ruined the original destinys whole reason for grinding and working to find that one weapon now we are in the same mess but we are limited to Midas, Uriel’s, last hope, and antiope-d.... for competition play that no patch will fix because obviously any gun with high caliber is favored... please for the love of god get your shit right or stop making games we love and then ruining them with shitty follow ups. I literally feel like I am playing halo; and strikes and nightfall are completely useless. Then you run a week for building your rep with a faction, which I feel was a huge biff because the old system was much better and again because of the possible rolls on weapons it made you want to, and you actually enjoyed it. Finally, coming down to it the only bother with the old pvp which you somewhat fixed but I feel would of been better to leave out is heavy weapons in competitive mode and each gun being open to getting all the option mods instead of a specific set for that type of gun..... anyways this game is booboo and way to casual for now and had so much hype that let me and many others down - thanks but no thanks

6 AntwortenFaction rally is a shit attempt that bungie made to make em feel like there is content/events every other week or so. Its ridiculous and i havent played for a few days now. COD ww2 is the best cod in awhile and that pvp is by far wayyyyyyyy better!!!

17 AntwortenI never played the first game so i dont have a frame of reference on which is better ect, i only play PC games. I will say im not dissapointed with the game world, gunplay, and production value and polish. Its a well made game, it runs great, i love playing in the game world, the music is fantastic. However.....it feels like this strange single player game where there are all these people on screen i cant communicate with. I dont see how this can be considered a loot farming game, or an RPG. The classes are disappointingly uninteresting. I get a grenade on a cooldown, a long one, and one skill i rarely use due to a stupid long cooldown. I understand the cooldown because the game is overly easy...which is another downside. The "rpg" aspect for my warlock is nothing more than "how do you want to float", "your grenade does...." and "that one skill you rarely use will damage people in this manner"....i mean i kinda get it...."occasionally you can fly in the air and dps, toss a dps "bomb" or "dps with lighting"...all methods are basically the same thing and happen too infrequently to really change how i play. Loot....guns are sort of interesting....power weapon is ruined by ammo....really i cant run around with a shotgun? its shotgun or explosive or sniper....or melee for whatever reason? That is an awful design choice. At least guns have interesting effects and change how i play...the rest of the loot feels more like just picking a larger number with no change in gameplay...boring.... So theres no character progression....no character diversity per class...loot itemization is basic and boring...classes are dull...the game is super easy...... Its fun but im not going to buy any expansion to be frank, and im really just playing to get my monies worth at this point, i do enjoy putzing around the game world though. For the "diablo with guns" i anticipated, in reality i got a FPS that other IP's all do better...so i really got a dull FPS in an awesome game world...which isnt what i was really looking for.... So i have to ask....why was this game hyped? Do they plan to add into the game later actual RPG choices and character progression? Do they plan to make loot interesting? WIll i ever be able to talk with the people i see in game (considering no chat and whisper from stranger block on by default)? Hell even in teams for pvp ect no one chats at all...what i randomly select a guild then hope discord is interesting? I dunno....i feel like they should have hired someone who has actually played an online PC game in the last 18 years and gave them a voice as to how its been done and how its done right....because that aspect is sorely missing...as well as anything id consider an RPG or loot based/loot grinder. I have thousands of hours in warframe, which is much more a loot farming game as it has good farming mechanics....id had hoped the same for D2....by the end of the year ill have had more time in the D2 ARPG than the D2 by bungie however....which is kinda sad for how well made the game is....

13 AntwortenI cannot possibly understand why people want more grinding to get what you want. I would rather a short, fun experience over a long, padded out one.

I keep my Ghost plushy close at night.
-
Ithink they should add exclusive weapons to each public event and strikes and make the rolls random...or atleast the last perk random. It is all about the last perk afterall.
-
When I first heard about mods I was excited cause like many we thought we could fully customize a weapon with different scopes or increase of stability or range etc. Then we got this lame shallow version where they either change the element o and raise it by 5 points or just raise it by five points.

SquidGuy is number one.
-
add the fact the game is full of bugs and crash => how to not make a game
-
Commercial success, but a community failure.
-
72 clan members. Prime time right now. 2are online. Days go by before nightfall or crucible clan rewards are available.

Mods suck but what can they do now. No one is playing D1 so iris hard to go back and play.
-
I still, and will, play and can live the mechanical nerfs/changes but what I find sad is the nerf to imaginative story-telling (tenuous though it was in D1 it was definitely there). The immersion just isn't there in D2. Much like the original Star Wars, Alien, Bladerunner story-telling works best when it is not pointedly targeted towards a kiddie-demographic but tells it's story imaginatively and expansively and cares nothing for cash-flow.
-
Not a failure, not what it could have been though
-
More of a huge disappointment. The failure may come in the next few months if the Dlc doesn't bring back the players or sell what Bungie and Activision expect.
-
4 AntwortenI can guarantee that when D3 releases, almost everyone will be posting that it's nowhere near as good as D2, that they'd rather be playing D2, and I'm sure some will even say they preferred D2Y1 best of all! 2 or 3 years can change everything - the players, the perception, the game itself

4 AntwortenJust waiting for Anthem (and hoping it will be all what destiny is not)

Next time their marketing team should develop the game. Seems like the best things about destiny is only the marketing campaign. #hype

14 AntwortenBearbeitet von Fos Kuvol: 11/11/2017 3:00:33 AMDisagreed 100% Nothing in this game is a failure, vanilla destiny 1 WAS a failure. And it is really easy to just use whatever weapon you feel comfortable with, while in D1 the meta was super limiting. Righht now, for instance, in D1 the meta is Palindrome, Wormwood. Using anything else is a severe disadvantage. At one time it was Suros, at another Thorn, at another Clever Dragon. At least in this game I can just jump into crucible with, say, Steady Hand and Riskrunner and reck just as hard as I would with the "meta". Also, plenty about this game is not casual. It was made more beatable for people with lives, simple as that. The working class citizen should be considered the average player and the average player therefore has approximately 16 hours a week to play when you account for jobs, school, spouses, children, and other activities. If the average player can't beat your game because of the time requirement, the game will fail to keep them coming back.

It's more of a WIPMMORPGRNGFPSer than a failure.
-
Not a failure. I enjoy this game. But i do agree with 90 percent of all complaints from the community.. division, mass effect Andromeda= trash.. destiny 2 doesnt live uo to destiny 1 but its not trash or a failure by any means

The servers haven't changed either. This is the only game where I get booted off and yet they have yet to do anything about it since Destiny first came out. Halo had servers from the start. Destiny and Destiny 2 had a change to be one of the greatest games ever made and Bungie has thrown it away. Until they remember what a real server is I'll never respect anyone that says Pvp is the best part. Strikes only go so far.

so don't play, k byee.....
