my highschool is a complete joke
Last week we had 5 fights and one this morning. A kid pulled the fire alarm today. A teacher fought a student (physical) about 2 weeks ago. One kid lit up a joint inside the other day and the whole building smelled.
So yeah freshman year has been fun

Umm, we had to play our football games at the junior high because we didn't have our own field.

5 AntwortenBearbeitet von Hunter: 11/12/2017 6:15:27 AMWhere the hell do you people live? Sure, some girl got beat up here pretty seriously, but that's the only real fight that happened ALL SEMESTER. In a PUBLIC school. This is a mixture of well off kids and low class (but not ghetto) by the way.

walked into the bathroom the other day to see three kids vaping over the sink. whole room cloudy as shit. right next to the sign right outside that said “no smoking or vaping - against the law” or something round those lines. turned right back around and peaced out. a couple weeks ago a kid in my class got into a back and fourth argument with the teacher because he was sitting in his chair with it turned around (leaning forward up against the “back” of it) and she didn’t like it. swear they went on and on for like five minutes and neither would give in until the teacher finally caved. so ridiculous

5 AntwortenWe had a Snapple machine that was broken. You could just press the button and it would dispense free drinks.

1 Antwortenin my last year of secondary school (i live in britain and thats basically the highschool equivalent) we had a new head teacher transfer in and after an argument involving this one guy calling a girl a slut she gave every guy in our year detention and established a club (it was called GAB it meant girls against boys) that gave free school meals and club membership and helped to pay for trips including the expensive overseas trips but was only open to girls and she blatantly turned a blind eye to bullying and abuse if the victim was male the real piss-take however is that the money they used to fund all this was the service child funds which is where about £450 ($600) was given to the school each year per student with a parent/guardian in the armed forces (including me) so the money that was supposed to pay for my lunches, school trips etc. was squandered on some top tier bullshit which half the girls in the school disagreed with anyway because they saw how bullshit it was as an extra note i would also like to point out that due to an injury i can't write all that well so i needed a laptop in class and the school wouldn't/couldn't fork out for a decent one because the money was gone

School was built in the 20's. Some renovations but a lot more is needed.About half of the bathrooms smell of weed. They are all dirty. Never any soap, paper towels, and rarely and tp. A lot of the kids act like idiots. Usual current behavior. Party and f. Freshman and sophomores run around like it's Chuckie Cheese. I can't wait to graduate in June this year.

4 AntwortenBearbeitet von U12070628: 11/9/2017 8:39:38 PMAll school is a joke. Was my freshman year of highschool. I went to a urban school in Florida, made 40% of Hispanics, and it felt like nobody knew English. Urban schools usually have the most students, and our school was overpopulating. Frustrating. 2nd day of school, and 5/7 periods were substitudes. I dint know what happened that year, but I’ve never had so many substitudes. The rest of the year was happy to fun time because we always had subs.
btw by the time I was a freshman my brother was a senior
We scored the lowest test grades in the county. Even if the teacher did make it to school, they couldn’t teach for crap. Easy work that was a waste of time too, but hey I’ll take an easy A even though the teacher should be fired. Teachers don’t even want to be here, students obviously don’t. Freshman were dumb and clueless, seniors were just extremely lazy because they know it’s their last year there and just want to get out already. I remember hearing my English teacher frustrated talking on her phone...”This is the shittiest county I’ve ever been too. I buy all these supplies for theses -blam!-ing kids, nobody wants to work for nothing, this generation is screwed” or something along those lines. Hearing so much profanity come out of a teachers mouth was shocking to me, because I was a freshman, and coming from middle school teachers never sweared. After a while it became normal. Kids bringing weapons to school, had a kid set off a bomb, donuts in parking lots, security everywhere, kids getting arrested, fights, drugs, pregnant freshman and much more. Everyday in first period, the majority of the class is either absent or late. Some come very late until the near end of the class. And the kids who were absent first period, I would see them walking around campus later on the day or you could catch them leaving campus completely.
and of course, there were trash can fires
Transportation was a joke. The bus was chaotic. Nobody knew English. Incompetent bus driver passing stops, going the wrong way, coming late everyday. At the time my mom couldn’t drive, and my dad would be at work. So if the bus didn’t make it, I would stay home, walk or take the city bus. It was better then riding the school bus because the bus ride took over an hour but the city bus would take less then half an hour. I would always sleep on the school bus until kids would steal my stuff, draw things on my face, do their shit while I slept. So I had to stay awake the whole damn ride. After a kid pulled a gun on the city bus, mom never let me ride it again and had to ride the city bus everyday until I got my own car, just so I can park it in the school parking lot and come back to see it spray painted with words in Spanish and the 2 front tires popped. Kids were racist as hell. Hispanics hated the blacks, blacks hated the whites. Always hearing racist derogatory terms being passed around. Even had a teacher bullied by the students for being white until he gave up and left the classroom. They also wouldn’t stop going on about his “yo shoe game homie” because he had flip flops on. Kids would travel in groups of people who are of the same race. I wanted to drop out but I endured it, never went to collage though. I didn’t belong in such a terrible, ghetto school. My dad graduated from the same school too. I asked him lots of questions about it, and asked him if the school was like this back when he was in it. He said basically everything I described was accurate to what he experienced too. In his words “HAHAHAHA! sounds like nothing has changed!” Sad. I enjoyed letting all this out. Something satisfying about typing this.

4 Antwortenwhere i'm from, if a child is born with physical abnormalities they're tossed into the pile of baby skulls from the top of a mountain. if they pass their first exam, they can move on to getting the ever-loving shit kicked out of them and having wrestling matches, slathered in olive oil. then, if all goes well and they are not crippled from their previous training, they get to go on pilgrimage of self-discovery, and kill, like, these giant wolves or whatever the -blam!-. then Persia will send an emissary and you'll kick him into a well that's far too deep for it's own good, like, to the point where when you're gathering water, you have to lower the bucket for an hour to fill it and then spend another hour reeling it back up, just so you can have it poured on you the next morning when you wake up for the daily beatings and training regiment. I think I've said enough.

1 AntwortenMy high school was very good at sports and everyone was on some sort of a team. The whole school was a web of who slept with who. And the answer was everyone.

1 AntwortenA lot of junior's and seniors my freshmen year were assholes. One kid in my grade, a really tall, skinny guy, tried to fit himself into one of the lockers (full size, not half size lockers) and got in trouble. The shop teacher, while demonstrating how to use a miter saw, pulled it down and sliced the cord. A senior in my health/sex ed class was pregnant. My sophomore year, the seniors were assholes, but not as much as they used to be. A kid in my shop class put a metal fork between the soles of his shoes and stuck it into a light socket. My junior year, the senior prank was putting a dead raccoon in the ceiling above the principal. They found it when it leaked through. My senior year, the freshmen started a lot of fights, though it always seemed to be the girls. During the physical fitness day, a neo-naz! kid went into the locker room, put an American flag into a urinal, and peed all over it. I've heard, and seen, since I've graduated (Been 8 years this coming May) bullying has skyrocketed, and our school used to be known for academics, but that's falling down the well.

5 AntwortenBearbeitet von Cayde: 11/8/2017 2:09:49 AM- A shit-ton of drama goes on at my school; a whole Twitter brawl erupted last night over fucking lipstick. - Two football players got in a fist-fight a few weeks ago over a shitty diss track one of them posted on Instagram. - Our ASB puts in a lot of work (especially into rallies), but it's as corrupt as the DNC and the Colombian government combined. - Last school year, this black guy with a knife stabbed three students (fortunately none were killed), tore off his shirt, then ran around campus shouting "My nigga" at the top of his lungs. - Our principle is a really nice guy, but he's absolutely clueless on virtually everything bad happening in our high school; he's generous, but not a genius. - There's a BLM club at our school, and over ten members were arrested for public vandalism and assault in the past few months. - A group of special-Ed students shat on a three-level staircase as a joke about a year ago. - Our teachers are either brilliant, or absolutely horrible. I could go on.

13 AntwortenBearbeitet von Soupreem: 11/9/2017 7:03:23 PMProbably not nearly as bad as other places but here we go: -There was a controversy about -blam!-ing Clorox wipes last year -Somewhere between a quarter and half of the school does drugs, anything from weed to meth -Our main building hasn't had any major renovations since it's opened (mid-80s I think), they've only added new wings -You can ask just about anybody to buy drugs and they can hook you up -Most of our teams are mediocre and/or otherwise swept under the rug (I know from experience) -Half of the school casually take multiple shots of hard liquor almost every weekend -Not really the school's fault, but somebody in my grade legitimately thinks he's part cat. -My district has a pretty high suicide rate -Somebody threatened to shoot up the school last year, the kid they suspected didn't do it, but they found nudes on his phone when they searched it. That's just what I can think of off the top of my head.

2 AntwortenMy high school had like 150 students total. About 90% of them were Russian, and all but 3 of them were complete morons. I would slack off and ignore everything in my math class and I passed with 98%

6 AntwortenDrugs everywhere. Bathrooms filled with 20-30 kids vaping at any time. A bomb threat today. Hurricane season canceling school. Fights in the morning.

4 AntwortenI got caught with weed at school , so when the Principle took a restroom break I snuck into his desk and stole my weed back and pipe and left. I got expelled but without any criminal charges due to lack of evidence. I was a real nightmare all through the high school till I got shipped off to military boot camp.

9 AntwortenThe following sums up my senior year of high school. Pre-Calc: 1 worksheet a day. Still get good grades without turning anything in. 90s. Slept in the back. Economics: listen to the teacher rant about how he hates Donald Trump. Occasional work sheets, usually talking the whole class off track. Forensics: a teacher who discloses that he only teaches forensics because they made him. Though he has no expertise in the area. Watched forensic shows each class. English: a teacher obsessed with meditation. Making students meditate before each class. Heavily favored girls. Last project was to put on a puppet show for everyone. I bailed on that.

Bearbeitet von Penguin Emperor: 11/9/2017 3:28:45 AMBasketball coach dating a student on the team. She ended up quitting the team Teacher falling asleep during the semester exam. Someone took a picture of it which got him fired Student set a trash can on fire Bomb threat in the bathroom School internet restriction were down and a student started watching porn. He also scored 30+ on the act (wtf) Guy jacked off to a drawing of a dragon in study hall Lesbians that wore tails and anime stuff. Also got caught hooking up in the janitors closets. Teacher gave students 100% on everything for the school year because he was emotional after his break up with another teacher. Student asked out my teacher thinking she was a student. In his defense she was hot and only like 23. Guy brought a gun to school. I accidentally brought bullets to school. My book bag got a big hole in the bottom so I borrowed my dads backpack. Just so happens to be the bag he had used recently to become a certified instructor for submachine guns (for his job) and I wasn't smart enough to check the side pockets of the bag before going to school.

3 Antworten-There was an on going race war between everybody. Whites, Latinos, and Blacks were all against each other. The Asians didn't care or seemed not to mind. I don't blame them. Then it got serious. Someone hung a noose on 3 trees where are the black students hung out. Blacks accused the whites first and started to beat the shit out a student. There was more violence in the following days. -Someone lit a trash can on fire -A student was caught with cocaine during career day. Dumb enough to walk by a k9 officer. -throwing a water balloon at the principal -water balloon fight as senior prank and everyone participating wasn't allowed to walk for graduation -Mexicans fought against Mexicans during a school vs school soccer brawl
