Would you play Big Team Battle(8v8,Larger map with vehicles) mode if it was in D2
Don't get me wrong, I enjoy destiny 2 for what it is, and I'm having fun with it. I don't own any consoles so i never got to play D1 so im not sure how many crucible games modes there were. Anyway id like to see a big team battle game mode in destiny form( You guys are probably gonna hate me for saying that ><), but I think it'd be a good spin on one of their classic modes, they've even got a few vehicles that would be good additions to a casual pvp mode. So what do you guys think?

I loved using scouts on that map, plus I grew fond of it in the Alpha and Beta. 8v8 would bring the chaotic gameplay we badly need. Sadly it is a platonic dream, I doubt Bungie will make a BTB playlists with at least 2-3 maps. Maybe eventually.... we can only bring their attention and hope. Plus, as many people point out, the lag would be real on this playlist. People would complain 1st day.

Destiny 2 PvP brings me back to the good ol' days of Halo. It just feels right. That being said, Big Team Battle was one of the most chaotic, fun and straight up bonkers things about Halo and it would fit perfectly in Destiny 2's 4v4 landscape

8 AntwortenHahahaha that would terrible for a game like Destiny 2. Imagine a 12 stack of gunslingers feeding on eachothers supers. Then 1HK or almost 1HK vehicles being abused. And you can't counter anything because you never have sniper/power ammo all the time because of how power ammo works in D2. Then at the end of the match you get 1 crucible token. Good job you got slaughtered for 12 minutes, go f[b]u[/b]ck yourself. 6v6 was not great in D1 and it won't work in D2. End of story.

Without dedicated servers, though, I wouldn't touch it. I've played Battlefield, Titanfall, Battlefront, and others. Out of all of the FPS PvP games I've played, Destiny 1&2 are the only games that I have lag issues in. They're the only ones that frustrate the living hell out of me, because of that; but I enjoy the mechanics, and premise of it more than the others. It's a kinda catch-22. I know some people like to say, "Dedicated servers won't fix everything.", well... No, but that's kinda like saying, "Antibiotics won't fix everything." No, but they've sure as hell cut down on a huge amount of illness. Nothing's going to fix everything, but it would sure as heck make it a lot better than it is now.

We had large team battles with tanks and sparrows and everything in destiny 1... it was even in the beta. But it is horrible lol

3 AntwortenWhy only 8v8? Are we in 2003? Minimum should be 12v12, its 2017 HELLO? With how outdated the game looks, with barely any improvements since 2014, and the fact that it doesn't even need to hold 60fps, i see no reason why can't they make much larger maps and 12v12 big team.

8v8 would be nice but it needs a perfect match type for it. Rift was probably ideal for it in a bigger setting. I'd like to see a different mix if 6v6v6 or 4v4v4 where you're technically out-numbered to begin with making it a harder match to simply kickback or believe team kills will carry you through.
