Would you play Big Team Battle(8v8,Larger map with vehicles) mode if it was in D2
Don't get me wrong, I enjoy destiny 2 for what it is, and I'm having fun with it. I don't own any consoles so i never got to play D1 so im not sure how many crucible games modes there were. Anyway id like to see a big team battle game mode in destiny form( You guys are probably gonna hate me for saying that ><), but I think it'd be a good spin on one of their classic modes, they've even got a few vehicles that would be good additions to a casual pvp mode. So what do you guys think?

This game desperately needs more variety in its pvp. Big team battles would be very welcome.

1,000 times YES. Loved Halo Reach's Big Team Battle. Really fun and it's funny when it comes to glitch stuffs in that game.

Interceptors Pike/Heavy Pike Sparrows Tanks (Like from the campaign, 1 per team) 8 Guardians per team Power ammo every minute and 30 seconds Big map, some with tight corners and tight spaces but big open outside area for driving. Maybe even add a relic in there! Like a control point will spawn, and whoever holds it for a minute get's said relic. Depending on the map it could be a Hive Sword, Shield of Aegis, Scorch Cannon, etc.

I remember Halo reach and Halo 4 big team battle, totally loved it. The only problem I see is the vehicles are no where near as good, but it would still be fun, and that's what Destiny is severely lacking.

Can't wait for the nerf sparrow threads. The lag should be minimal to. Right now 4v4 runs so smooth and flawless. Doubling it should be no problem at all.

If the mode was implemented into D1? Absolutely. Would it convince me to buy D2? Hell no.

Lags still here in 4 v 4 so yeah, might as well have some fun with big team battles instead of sweaty macfukinlagfest every night. Crucible blows now. One side is always loaded and invincible while the other gets one shotted

1 AntwortenCombined Arms was a mode in D1 that is precisely what you are describing but it was 6v6. Considering it was done in the first it MIGHT be added into D2... but with the way Bungo is running things nowadays, maybe not.

3 AntwortenAfter Destiny 1 Bungie needed to expand PvP beyond what they offered. Instead they removed options, playlists, and simplified PvP and ended up coming off as lazy with this horrible PvP offering. For goodness sake this studio made Halo. Where's CTF? Assault? Custom Games? Large scale battles? Map editor? File sharing? ANYTHING? Before people say "just go buy Halo" just think about the fact that Destiny 1 and 2 were made by the same studio and each game has taken steps BACK from games that came out nearly a decade ago.

Hell yeah, crucible is growing on me the more i play but the 4v4 aspect is already getting pretty dull. I understand the competitive aspect of a 4v4 match but having the option to play larger game types would definitely be fun.

I am not a huge fan of PVP. If they don't change PVP it wouldn't matter to me, but if they did this, it wouldn't matter to me either. I am a bigger fan of more PVE, but if they do decide to do more for the PVP crowd that would be cool too. Perhaps Bungie Could make something similar to Overwatch for PVP. They could separate the games one PVE and one PVP.

I'd play anything bigger than 4v4 tbh...the matches are too low speed now. 4v4 works ok for competitive but quickplay it's a nahfor me dog
