We've removed this chart because people are using it to spread a false narrative of the Destiny 2 player population. Daily Unique users is a misleading statistics to use as basis for the active population of the game, any game in that matter. Not everyone plays video games 24/7, besides maybe at launch. We hoped our article would've cleared this up a bit but it seems it hasn't. To halt people from making false narratives based on the numbers we provide we decided to stop showing them in this chart.

2 AntwortenA clan of 30 ppl who played D1 daily is officially dead...
-
7 AntwortenI reached 305 on all three of my characters and have mostly full raid gear sets and flawless trials runs, there is absolutely no reason for me to play anymore, I put in over 1000 hours worth of time on D1 and RARELY got bored. I haven’t touched D2 in over a week and I don’t have the desire to. That’s where most of us are now i think, we don’t have a reason to play anymore once you do everything once or twice. PvP needs more options and game modes, strikes are pointless lol, only 1 raid?… no light advantages in endgame PvP modes? You’ve made this all so pointless now.

I‘m glad that I haven‘t already bought the dlc‘s might need to rethink that 🙃
-
the game is heading for a downfall like The Division. We all know that another 500K - 1 million player will not be playing the game until the DLC comes out in December. Player's will not be putting in more then 6-12hr per week on this game. Some people don't even play anymore. By the time the DLC comes out about 300-500K with be playing. I to would want to remove the daily stats. If i saw a population drop of over 2 million players in around 30 days. Just a reminder that the game came out on September 6, 2017. This is what we call taken a good game and putting it in the trash from Bungie. If we are lucky maybe Destiny 3 will get trashed and we wont have to look forward to another dump. It's a shame that whatever Bungie does will not help FIX the problem.

3 AntwortenBearbeitet von HumDrumHokum: 10/25/2017 4:37:20 PMFalse narrative. Big ol' corporation Activision was like, "people are seeing that 78% of players have stopped playing from this site that tracks player population. They're threatening our profits. Let's threaten to sue them for telling the truth."
-
I haven't logged in, been focusing on other things of interest. Honestly i don't feel any negativity towards the game because i'm not so fixated on it, and i don't care to play it either because i already have everything i desired within it. Moving on until December i guess.

2 AntwortenThis game just isn't as good as the 1st. If anything it should've been $40 dlc.
-
1 AntwortenI love all the people thinking Bungie is behind it like they control Destinytracker.
-
2 AntwortenStill on home page though. 6.1M Tracked Players Total 1.0M Crucible Players Yesterday 2.2M PvE Players Yesterday

1 AntwortenIt's unfortunate, but I still enjoy the game. I'll log on daily. ~TheGreatNike

Well done, these babies must stop playing then. Good riddance
-
Whoah, bizarre and narcissistic
-
I and most of the folks I have raided/grouped with (7 or 8 people) have stopped logging in. That isn’t indicative of a trend, however, I am seeing this more and more in threads I logged in briefly to do flashpoint, got bored and went and mowed the lawn. I chose to low my lawn instead of play the game. That’s my opinion on the current state of the game.

8 AntwortenFalse narrative? I don't need to see your numbers; my friends list and my own experience tell the story. The narrative is that nobody is playing D2. The narrative is the game is boring. Don't get defensive, help us out. We paid a lot of money. Please tell us you hear our concerns. Please tell us you have ideas to fix the problems.
-
PvP down to 649k. PvE 1.4 million D2 really is dropping
-
Haha that's when you know they are ashamed. Wow, look how far the mighty has fallen.
-
I noticed this too and was tempted to make a post about it, they also removed the daily player logins on the homepage (which btw the chart tracked both D1 and D2 so in reality the daily logins for D2 were lower than what you saw). Guardian.gg tells you the daily logins and yesterday there was 1,052,817 logins across both D1 and D2 so less than 1 million for D2.
-
My in game roster don't lie. Lol been a struggle finding people on my friend's list to play with the last week.
-
I guess I don't get it. How can daily population be misinterpreted? Pretty straight forward unless the CHART ITSELF is not labeled correctly
-
they just removed the normal tracker there was on the main page too lol

9 Antwortenbungie = the new microsoft lie to your customers and put out lazy content and call it a sequel. ask microsoft how it went for them with xbox one. idiots. p.s day 1 beta player with over 250 raid clears sequels should move forward, not a basic reskin with no variable perks on guns armor and class cause your to lazy to balance. you should be ashamed of yourselves to call this a full priced sequel. taken king was 10 times better. as i said, idiots
