✋ Hello Bungie community and more. I'm going to express my experience with "crucible", mostly trails; as to why I felt I needed to make this topic. The clan I take part in has decided to attempt their first trails matches. A few matches in, we have already experienced trail teams not close enough to our own skill level, making the match by far to easy. Sometimes entire teams leaving giving us a flawless match, and even a team of players that won 456, and 426 times in trails. Visible by the trails emblem. What was most frustrating was not only was the matchmaking proven to be random, but that last match felt pointless. That trails team showed they had great experience and skills, and I'm happy for their success, but I feel it's not fair to put fresh players with such "professional" ones. Especially if it leads to the teams distress and lack of wanting to try further on, being that it was so random. I can not believe that was our first time of trails and it was so inaccurate as far as matching. If that's what it is going to be like every attempt at trails then I see no worth in fancy gear and guns over my own clan mates positive experience. There is clearly a different feel for frustration and still wanting to try, to frustration and distress that leads to no interest. I'm sure we're not the only ones who feel this way, for similar or different reasons. But, it seems the match making feels by far to random, and if anything a joke to "personal growth and progression". I have a feeling that the Bungie team already knows of this issue, whether they are addressing it or not seems vague. But, I hope at some point we see some sort of "profession" ranked system in the future of this game. Thank You 🤝
