Perfectly summed up and I think you mirror the feelings of many guardians out there. In summary, I think bungie have made this game way too casual friendly and in turn have killed the game. I remember in year 1 destiny it might taken 3-4 weeks in between exotic gear and that made it feel truly special. Even getting duplicates was awesome as we could assign them to another character that did not have the gun. Now get the gun once and can purchase for other characters. Even the hard raid is a joke. No specific weapons and just some crappy ornament for competing it. Wow all I have to do now is log on and I have PVP, strike, trials and raid engrams if my clan completes these activities. I had over 6000 hours play time in D1, the way things are going it feels like the the fun and time invested in D1 is a distant memory
