It's very simple. You see Bungie said eff the community that made this game fun/almost complete towards the end of D1 (AND kept it alive for 3 years) and made D2 the casual players game. EVERYTHING watered down and made stupid easy for them. Compare the trophies from D1 and D2. There are more than half of players who have actually completed the story than there was in D1. 52% have collected 15 exotics in D2 and only 37% got 1 exotic in D1. 30% got to rank 1 with the Vanguard, Crucible and only 33% completed 10 public events in D1. Participation tokens are what we get now for doing any of these *sigh* 21% have completed a raid in D1. 22% fully upgraded an exotic weapon. (That's just damn lazy) I had more fun getting these trophies in D1 plus all the grimoire, ghosts and chasing those god rolls than anything D2 has to offer. It's a damn shame.
