Upvote if you currently hate what destiny has turned into yet love what destiny should be.
Year one had its problems but it kept people playing and that's because the real level cap was tied to the raid and you actually had to level stuff up (armor, weapons, and subclasses) love the grind or hate it but it kept people interested in playing it. Now it's way to easy to level up to cater to casuals which has completely ruined the game and what really made it fun.
Had this in the thread but not many actually saw it so I'm editing.
For all the "what do you think destiny should be or what is d2 lacking people"
1. D2 is a sequel not a dlc and should have had certain things that were GUARANTEED with its release.....NEW character class with all new subclasses to unlock, NEW enemy types, NEW types of playlist activities( not just revamped ones like public events), and of course the only one they actually gave us new areas to explore......these things should have been in the release for $60....instead all we got was a way overpriced dlc to which they took out all the old content.
2. This game seriously needs a horde mode simply for fun at end game just like pvp
3. Iron banner should have something that seriously defines it from regular crucible.....I'd personally like to see it be 4v4v4 and have power level matter.
4. They need to learn the meaning of the saying "the more the merrier" larger fireteams in strike playlists with a harder difficulty of course and public events.....preferably even like a 12 man raid that is more bullet sponge instead of strategy (not that they don't still need the 6 man raid that is strategy) with matchmaking simply for fun not for raid loot....maybe just give a guaranteed exotic or something meaningless but the point is it'd be something fun for a big fireteam and wouldn't matter if a few were carried or had mics.
5. Weapons and armor should need to be leveled up just not in the same way they used to.....maybe have vendors sell weapons and armor with set perks that don't need to but if you come across one while playing and you like the perks you have some activity tied to unlocking them (kinda like the original 3 exotic swords and the strike you had to do before you could get it).
6. I think it's about time they come out with a new elemental type.....corrosive maybe (kinda like thorn)....it'd be nice for 4th subclass with a new element also
7. Think they should take a page from borderlands on this one and have 4 weapon slots.....kinetic, elemental, sniper/shotgun/fusion rifle, and then power(also for the love of god bring back machine guns!)
8. This one is just a neat idea I've had about making our ships kinda like our home and let you spawn into them and decorate with all of your collection.
9. Engrams turned in should give a 3 item option to chose from so you don't end up with as many duplicates
10. Let you choose what game type you want to play in crucible.
11. More customization options with weapons armor and subclass.

4 AntwortenIt definitely feels like the endgame content is lack luster compared to the original. Don't get my wrong. The Leviathan raid is beautiful and the most challenging Destiny raid I have experienced. But, other than getting a few items that I want from it, I don't feel like I need to do it like I did in the original with say Taken King. I'm having more fun leveling up additional characters than worrying about the end game content. But! My biggest concern is what happened with Iron Banner this past week. I loved each and every week of IB back in the original. Believe me...my girlfriend always hated it when I mentioned it was IB week. However, the first D2 IB week was just a shadow of the original. The battling was good and I love Control. The item drops were just terrible. Why hype up sweet armor sets if it is completely random getting an armor piece after playing, at minimum, 4 matches to get 20 coins to earn a package. I think I got to 20 packages and I still am missing 1 armor piece. It just got to the point where practicality kicked in and I had to give up. This is all in comparison to the original IB where at least I knew that if I worked hard enough with rep and bounties, I would get the available armor. Now I just have a bunch of underwhelming IB guns as rewards instead of the armor I was so heavily invested in. You need to fix these big problems very soon if not immediately, Bungie. Or else you are going to lose your true fans. I mean...Cuphead's out right now. Be concerned!

8 AntwortenYeah, I haven't played the raid fully yet with no raid gear, but I can be light lvl 300 without doing it. lvling is way too easy. The GAME is way too easy. Bungie didn't learn anything from Dark Souls...

I’m genuinely confused as to why all the feedback and improvements made in the last two years of Destiny 1 were abandoned. Honestly, there are only three options: it’s either deadlines, hubris, or incompetence. For the sake of the game, I really hope it’s the first one.

Even though its true, we cant blame it on the casuals.And even though Dattos vid was on this, the problem relies on bungie.They made the decision of a short game, aimed at the majority of our community , the casuals. Its sad, but im sure that both hardcore and casuals unite to get more content out of this game.Instead of fighting each other, we should be telling bungie what we really expect from destiny, and the huge potential it has.

Agree. Honestly too many ways to hit max power. Flash points 5 crucible games Raid Nightfall Trials Clan And too many of those are honestly too easy to supply max power items. Raid, NF, and trials should be the only things that drop 300 power items. I man I literally have 7ish hours ofnplay after my 3rd character hit level 20 and have him up to 295 or so. And most of that was IB play. Plus besides actually being a 305. There is no benefit to being it. The raid is 80% puzzles that don’t require damage or fights. IB and trials it doesn’t matter. They just took the desire out of the game. Loved D1 and hated the unimportant grinds (leveling items, planetary materials) but damn.

I only managed to force myself to play for the first 3 weeks, with issues been apparent to me almost immediately. A game in which is focused on supposedly powerful guardians, I can't help but feel stupidly weak and almost futile when attempting to change the pace of the game on PVP, you can no longer make plays without the need of a super or heavy, now with that been said you would think it's not all too bad, but with only getting one super per game, and having to compete with teammates for heavy, these opportunities rarely come about. Not to mention to game runs on 30fps.. I can't Think of another FPS at the moment which runs on 30 frames! So not only is your character not amazingly sluggish in movement, your also capped by the shoddy framerate. I would give this game on a whole a generous 4/10, the pve content is empty, shallow, the PvP content is appaling by any means, the weapons and skill trees are just abysmally terrible, no imagination, a bunch of reskins, and no real customisation, for an rpg!? It's terrible, had this game been marketed as a DLC for Destiny 1 I wouldn't have been so dismayed. But if you fansy something with a little more bang for your buck, titanfall for one, enables You to feel powerful, gives you the ability to move to your extent, your not capped by what the games deems appropriate. I've removed this game from my ps4 3 weeks after release and haven't even contemplated playing it again, nor will I purchase any cash grabbing dlc's which release new PvP game modes.. Truly astonishing

After playing Destiny 1, Nightfall ( 2 manning it with a random tower inv)and some strikes, I realized how much more fun D1 still is and I need not torture myself with Destiny 2. Returned the game and going to delete it entirely from my console.

I just can't stand pvp anymore. In D1 it was a lot of fun for me, whether playing as solo or with a team. This games pvp has no fun factor whatsoever.
