Luke Smith is great. Taken King was fantastic. I really do not know what happened here.

1 AntwortenThis kind of thing right here is proof that this planet needs an extinction level event.

Congrats u have made the list of moronic posts.

"Get him out of here before this IP is completely ruined." If we gotta go this way, it has already been done since D1 day one.

5 AntwortenLet's put down the pitchforks and torches for a moment and take a deep breath and all ask ourselves, is this constructive, like at all? Is this going to help anything, or open a dialogue between Bungie and us? The answer is probably going to be no. Does Luke deserve to be fired? Of course not. He did his job as the creative lead and worked with the team at Bungie to deliver a solid game to the masses. Are people not happy with the product they got? Of course, because you can't please everyone, people are bound to be upset. Is the endgame lacking? It's missing a certain depth, but it's an issue that can and will be remedied in the coming months. Now I hear the clamoring masses shouting that Bungie shouldn't have released an incomplete product, and to that my response is that we got a story with a beginning, middle and end. We got worlds to explore and gear (however lacking) to acquire and a raid to overcome. That's a full game to me. It's about what you'd get from an average shooter, even more when you consider that places we get to go. So, should Luke be fired? No. Do we all need to calm down a bit because all of the problems with Destiny 2 can be fixed? Yes. I love this game and community to death but we can act like some real goofballs sometimes, and nobody takes goofballs seriously.

I do agree that his PR skills are very lacking, but I am willing to bet he his very good at his job (from bungie's point of view). If he wasn't he would have been gone already.

16 AntwortenLuke Smith is the director and if you think that D1 vanilla was better then you must be judging this game as if all the DLCs are already implemented. Good lord, let this game develop over the next year.
-
12 AntwortenD2 is developed by an entire team and multiple departments and you blame this one guy for all of it? is that because it's one of the only employees' names you know?
-
1 AntwortenD2 is a fun game.... Till you have gone flawless and done with the raid. Play a different game for a while.

1 AntwortenWhat you people need to realize is that people like Luke Smith, Deej, and Cozmo (i.e. Anyone you hear about constantly) are rarely the ones at fault. At least not completely. I'm 95% sure that every decision Luke Smith and the rest of Bungie have made has been because of Activision breathing down their necks and pushing their agenda ahead of the wellbeing of the game and the wants/needs of the fans. I knew as soon as I saw Activision enter the scene that Destiny would never live up to its full potential. Firing Luke Smith wouldn't accomplish anything because he would just be replaced by another lackey that does everything Activision says.

6 AntwortenNot buying the DLC's will make huge changes to this game
-
Fire Activision is more like it.

ip is already ruined. Where have you been?
-
25 AntwortenSo you want someone to get fired which will probably ruin his chance of ever working in what he loves cause you don’t like A game?
You got issues.
Bearbeitet von Concord, Killer of Studios: 10/12/2017 8:15:02 PMI have been asking for this botch to leave for a long time now, if not can we at least trade him for an American prisoner in North Korea? Matter of fact trade for any foreign prisoner in North Korea that would do. Thanks

Dont know about firing him but definetly remove him from project lead
-
Some one needs to lose their job idk who is responsible for all of these terrible ideas in a row but it's gotten out of hand.
-
It's not fair to pin this entirely on Luke Smith. He has bosses that he answers to just like everyone else. The real culprit here is the piss poor vision the team chose for Destiny 2.

This person is an idiot.
