Completely agree, this game has gone to shit only because this guy has his head so far up his backside that he looks out of his belly button now. Destiny 2 should NOT have been released until all the kinks and creases were sorted first, for example, deleting one shader at a time is such a time waster, the rewards really haven't improved much since Destiny 1, the game play is so bugged that we are fed up with the lag in our clan and the crucible, well that is self explanatory. Now we have mercury, same missions into the Infinite Forest over and over and over again is getting to be so frigging boring. I am very critical when it comes to Bungie as I can see it has a tonne of potential but Bungie doesn't appear to listen to it's gamer base. A quick way for a company to fold is to piss of it's users. I am however going to give them credit for the graphics, it has improved but the gameplay still needs a tonne of work. If I was in a position as Luke Smith is currently in and if I were the hiring and firing, I would simply say to him, lift your game or you're outta here. But then again, who knows if the bosses really know what's being said in the forums and on twitter, what feedback actually reach back to them, very little by the way the game is heading. Quick money grab, that is all that Destiny 2 was done for, nothing else. Just my opinion.

Crazy that this new mindset even invades gaming culture! Dont fire anyone because if they do a poor job they are still entitled to it? Who are you people?!? I am sure someone can pull the dozens of quotes about Smith knowing features are not done properly (loot to name one of many). Do the people that are saying not to jeopardize this poor poor man future (Smith) understand how much he has made? Meanwhile everyone else who does not make his type of wages are held to a standard an get sacked if we dont live up to it. I truly hope people who think this way grow up. You are not entitled to wealth, happiness, or safety. It is earned by you or others and people sound like petty children who think otherwise. Luke Smith do you damn job or make way for someone who will. Enough words just do it!

7 AntwortenBearbeitet von Ne0nK0ala: 10/12/2017 7:46:07 PM😂 sure that's the answer..... What a lot of people don't realize about Luke Smith is that he made vault of glass, the guy has extreme talent and I'm sure many other devs at bungie do too. [Edit: he designed kings fall too just to add. And to be honest this raid is pretty well made too, it's just the underlying game that makes it a bit boring to play.] The problem lies with management, I can almost guarantee it.

3 AntwortenLuke Smith - "hey lets make shaders consumable" Intelligent Bungie employee - "that's going to make everyone who played Destiny angry" "Why would you do that?" Luke Smith - "Money" "oh and you're fired, we don't need those kind of ideas at Activis... I mean Bungie"

8 AntwortenI'll take Luke Smith's job. Hell I'll even do some ComMod stuff on the side. Under my leadership I'll enact big changes for Destiny. I'm a man of the people, I hear your complaints and promise to change things to make you, the player, feel like this is the game you wanted. -SBMM, for real this time. -6v6 matches for casual play. 4v4 matches will be a different section you can choose. (Iron Banner will be 6v6) -Players will get to pick the match type they want for Crucible. -Bring back Rumble. -Bring back Private Games. -Back to Basics game mode, khvostovs, starting sidearm, incendiary grenades, no supers. -Trials will mean something, a real ELO system and ranking that gives players rewards (I'm thinking unique armor sets and adept weapons) based on the tier they're in. (think like LoL, start in Bronze and work up to Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, etc. Flawless tickets will still bring you to the equivalent of the lighthouse) -The return of Sparrow Racing League! -Holliday and Xur will sell sparrow upgrade kits. Take those weak uncommon sparrows and boost their stats and give them cool exhaust colors to make them racing ready. (This way you don't have to bank on Eververse giving you a good sparrow, though you can still pimp out those too if you want) -Banning the paid carries and lag switchers instead of letting them continue. -Returning of old exotics (exotic swords anyone?) and gear to the loot pools (the assets exist so they might as well be used, plus I like the old ships more than the new ones) -Buffing the D2 exotics so that they're worth using. (I can only have one exotic weapon and armor piece at a time so it better be good enough to justify using it over a legendary) -Remove chest/resource farming caps. The rep gain from resources is so low that punishing players for gathering them is absurd. -Remove engram limits. If you want to get 100 FWC engrams then godspeed and I hope RNG gives you what you're gunning for you intrepid soul. -Every faction rally will change the armor sets rewarded. There should be a reason to get involved in the event every time it shows up. -Bring back bounties. Bounties will be harder and more specific (kill 10 hive ultras, kill enemies affected by suppressor grenades, complete 5 heroic ether supply events, etc). This will then allow for exotic bounties to return as well. -Let players play through the story when they want. Ikora will still give her daily missions but this way you can play what you want. -The return of random rolls to gear. The token system (and general boost to the legendary drop rate) makes farming loot a lot easier so random rolls aren't nearly as punishing as they used to be when we had to use loot caves. -Let players buy weapons and armor from the merchants in the tower. The weapons will even rotate stock so it isn't too predictable. -Xur will sell exotic engrams. They'll be more expensive than buying what he has in stock but you have the chance to get anything (if it's fighting lion I'm sorry) -Reforging weapons and armor! Use your legendary shards to reforge any legendary you have, normal, Trials, or Iron Banner. -Bring back Eva Levante so players can buy shaders and emblems. -Make the Glimmer cap 1,000,000. -Improve the weapon/armor mod system. Exotic mods that give additional bonuses like bonus damage/resistance to certain factions, some weapon perks, etc. -Add things to do in the Arcology on Titan. That planet's playable space is far too limited and should have more to do. -Bring back strike specific loot. -Bring back the heroic strike playlist. -Bring back old nightfall modifiers and make timers a modifier that comes up sometimes. -Fix the guided games so they don't work only as a clan recruitment tool. Even if a clan is full they should be able to help other guardians through nightfalls and raids. -Bring the subclasses back to what they used to be. Players deserve to have more build diversity instead of less. -Make Prestige Raids worth doing. Cosmetics are nice but real rewards need to be there to incentivize players, increased light lever gear, raid exotic (Acrius should have just been there instead of a quest). -Raid challenge modes (I'm already bored with Leviathan so hopefully this would spice it up) -Bring back ammo synths. Nobody wants to wipe in the raid just to get more ammo. Just double tap reload and a synth for the equipped weapon will be used (unless ammo is full then one isn't expended) With your support we'll make Destiny great again. We'll make a better Destiny and make the Cabal pay for it! Make me the project lead, I'll give you the game you deserve.

where did the talent go? current day bungie kinda sucks, but I refuse to believe everyone that made each halo great went to 343i. Those new halo games are trash.
-
I fully support this. I hate that guy, he’s a condescending jerk.
-
The more I read on the internet about how lame this game has become, the more I think: who's fault is this; and Luke Smith comes to mind..
-
Yeah he's kinda useless

Here’s some 🧀

You have to admit guys, Luke did his job. He didn’t do his job for the gaming community, he did it for his company that hired him. His business. They made their profit, they aren’t doing anything to him.

2 AntwortenDestiny 2 is horse crap. Yeah Bungie took a couple steps forward but, then ran backwards. Lets quit the bs everyone and start being honest here...this game Destiny 2 isn't good. And I give no -blam!-s to what any fanboys say. Because I am a Titan who gives no -blam!-s. Destiny 2 is crap. And everyone knows it. The streamers know it, you know it, and Bungie knows it. In Destiny 1 people would say all the time that Destiny was dying, it never did though. This time its different. Its dying, and its because the players are finally rejecting half assed games. PvP players deserve better, PvE players deserve better, hardcore gamers deserve better, and yes even the casual players deserve better than this. Bungie made alot of money from us all. Deej - Cozmo - Luke Smith all of you better soak it in. Because you cheated the game industry. You cheated your fans. You cheated yourselves. You made promises, you couldn't keep. You talked a big game, but couldn't deliver. And if you think gamers are going to listen to your excuses, your wrong. You F'd things up real good. And I predict right now that your 10yr plan won't make it past 2018. Its a shame. You could have really did something great here. But, next gen isn't about going backwards in any aspect. Its about moving forward. Something you refuse to do.

I agree. It's not that he makes mistakes, it' that he absolutely refuses to admit it when he does. Consumable shaders is a mistake and he's doing his usual thing; we just don't understand how clever he is.
-
Make sure you submit your resume. Can't wait to play your game
-
Nice feedback that gives no details or suggestions
-
Nah, anyone who asks for anyone to be sacked from their job is a lowlife.
-
What could of been seems to be the story of bungie’s game franchise

6 AntwortenWe need to do the following: Revert Destiny back to D1 graphic power and rendering Sell Destiny to Blizzard That would solve things.

But he has SHADERS!!!

1 AntwortenNo thanks I like watching all you noobs cry on the forums. ;)

10 AntwortenNah, I like Luke Smith. He makes you guys mad.

He'll yeah

YESSSS. The only thing he did well was the Vault of Glass. But who knows how much he actually did for that raid.
