Nice IB reskin weapons bungie
As guessed, they’re just a bunch of lazy reskins.
So I guess that’s what Luke meant...by making the fifth drop of the same weapon more interesting, by adding five reskins of the same weapon?! Nice...
This is just damn lazy bungie! Or did you plan IB with no weapons at all and had to make some quick, because people already were worried why there are no infos about them?
Not even a samurai sword? Nothing?
And the fact that light level doesn’t matter anymore, makes the first IB a shadow of itself. I’m sad.... -_-
Edit: It seems there are many people defending the reskinned weapons. And I know we had reskins before, but bungie finally made the step to add unique weapons to IB. So why go back?
Are you guys ok if your mom/girlfriend finally adds mayonnaise on your sandwich and all of a sudden stops doing it? I’m pretty sure everyone would be disappointed by it. ;)
And also, I agree, the armor looks great! But all I got so far was the freaking terak chest...I mean, wtf. I’m playing IB, so why add random gear in the lootpool bungie?!

I'd like to point out also, that the armor is the BEST iron banner armor out of any IB ever. But the weapons, as you said, are just reskins with iron banner medallions slapped on. Couldn't even at least introduce a new foundry for the IB designs to be based on. Had to be vanguard and suros style weapons. Why not Hakke at least? Or veist? I see those two the least in this game. Or maybe bring Daito or Tex Mechanica in as a surprise? It would be cool. And like OP said, a samurai sword dude. They missed out on the samurai theme and not giving us a samurai sword. Not a ninja one like the hunter gets, no. A samurai one, a long katana. Not a short one.

Iron banner and the weapons are a disgrace. Total waste of time and bungie destroyed iron banner. Destiny 2 is getting more shit. Seems like a lack of thought went into this game.

7 AntwortenI agree the weapons leave much on the table to be desired. The armour is on point though. After 3 years of D1 I can honestly say I'm not surprised. Every unique weapon in D1 that anyone could obtain was nerfed at some point. Vex Suros Auto Rifles in general Thorn not once, not twice, but 3 times Sniper Rifles(1ks and icebreaker) Shotguns Fusion Rifles Gjally and the Truth Doctrine Grasp of Malok And the list goes on and on... At this point it's the players themselves that are to blame. I don't blame Bungie one bit on making every weapon the same with no chance to get different rolls. Besides, all I've seen since this game came out is nerf Midas, nerf uriels, nerf nerf nerf a 1000 times to 1 buff post. Blame those -blam!-ers for the lack of gun variety and garbage exotic weapons. Every time you see a post titled "mida banner" or "trials of mida" make sure to thank those guys for the garbage ass weapons and multiple reskins of those same weapons you see before you today. I can guarantee those players were the same trash in D1 that they are now.

Then they hired some baboons to throw poop at it and shipped it. You think they actually have time to make content for a game loaded with literally tens of weapons? I think not my friend, they're still working on the friendship buff.

Ornaments. There’s no customization. Hunter still can’t get recovery. What does that reduce the game down to when all armor are just aesthetic skins? IB Weapons are reskins? Ornaments. You’re just playing quick play for ornaments

You honestly think that just because they didn't parade their weapons (ok, re-skins or whatever) on the front page like the cool looking armor, that they forgot to add any? Like some dude was reading the responses and said "Oh shit- they're expecting weapons and we forgot! Go slap some IB logos on that f*&#ing scout rifle quick!!!". Edited: removed some BS as I was in a horrible mood.

1 AntwortenYou know what? Anytime during d1, I would have fought this post rather intensely. With how disappointing D2 has been, I can only agree with this post. It’s sad, but I’ve just lost faith in this franchise over this crappy game. They lost the magic that made destiny destiny.

A lot in this game, or shall I say, a lot not in this game was the sandwich she made me at our first dinner. It had all the condiments, finally. Ketchup, mustard, even bacon for the show. Then she took it all out and I’m left with a ham and cheese with too much bread. To elaborate on the bread, there were a few ways to hit max light, finish your sandwich, in Destiny. Now there’s several to get “powerful equipment.” I’ve been enjoying the game and hope we quickly get the sandwich we ordered last time but it’s been a month. In time we’ll be satisfied.
