1 AntwortenYou got bored of the same thing. D1 was fresh; D2 is a fresh paint job but you see what it is underneath

2 AntwortenOh you're on your 3rd story mission? Here's an exotic bud. Oh you're on your 10th? Here is an exotic bud. Oh you finished the story here is another exotic. Oh you finished the story but aren't level 20 yet? Here you go kids

For me, it’s a catch 22. My resume reads like most Destiny vets, day one player, ran through all the raid multiple times, every single exotic in the game, etc. I was addicted to Destiny, in my office at work reading the lore and counting down the time. I mean I almost faked being sick to leave the office when the Black Spindle mission was discovered. Every night, I was on. And went to work the next day, riding three hours of sleep. This time around, not so much. My daughters eight months old, and caring for her with my TWO jobs takes a lot out of me, so those D1 nights till 5AM are a thing of the past. I play about two to three hours a night, knock out my weekly milestones and go to bed. It’s nice to not have to grind like crazy, since I’ve been easily about to hit 293 by playing when I’m able. But, the millstones are really easy and after they are completed, there really isn’t much left to do (did all my milestones in one night, I’m pretty much done for the week). So while I appreciate that I don’t feel like I’m grinding nonstop, it is also disappointing that I’m bored by Wednesday night. But I remain hopeful things will pick up. Game hasn’t been out long, and they have plenty of time to build on it.

1 AntwortenI miss looking for ghosts... I miss the prison of elders I miss the rupture and the rise of iron public event on earth... Destiny has a strong feel to it after the rise of iron.. After moving to destiny 2...its really knocked me back... I was so excited. But the joy turned into 'Really?' It's not the game I wanted... And im really gonna think twice about moving forward with the game.. Yes my friends are here and we chill on destiny... But it's not holding strong.. We've already started to play other games together
-
Destiny 1 had 3 years of content to play and D2 has barely a month of content to play... You see where im going with this, right?
-
I put over 3000 hours into d1, can't see myself getting anywhere near that this time around.
-
I'm becoming bored out of my mind with D2. Static rolls are a bore. PvP is mida teamshot Mida teamshot. I enjoyed the last year of D1 more than this snoozefest
-
Exactly! Logging on seems like a chore compared to year 3 D1. I was driven every day to go and play Crucible.... now it's a contest to see who can teamshoot better and it gets straight up awful if you dare solo queue.
-
You don't like the game anymore or played through it too fast. Go to a different game.
-
Wanna know something The grind starts with dlc 3 have fun
-
12 AntwortenThe game is much better as it requires way less grinding.
-
The new weapons system, pvp changes, are killing the fun. Nothing is special. Boring.
-
51 AntwortenThey removed the loot.... Fixed rolls are boring and bland, in fact, all weapons have one less perk now, they'd basically be considered blue drops from D1.... Armour is cosmetic only, raid weapons are as weak as everything else, even firefly is totally pointless, virtually no explosion....
-
The loot in boring and ordinary!
-
It lacks fun, it lacks destruction when you pop that super charge and besides those milestones (even those are boring) there is nothing to do, well unless you have no self respect and say there is loads to do cuz there aint :/
-
4 AntwortenIt's the -blam!-ing end game. It's just lazy, nightfalls aren't fun they're just stressful the raid is so easy and boring like wtf can you do.
-
It seems copy past way too much with gear and weapons with different names. And the ads are still stupid with better long range shots but up close dumb as crap. Halo at least had enemies that would try to flank you and take you on unloke the runaway or stand there enemies of destiny. I think of they changed that there would be a thrill and make it challenging.
-
6 AntwortenStrikes are terrible. Zero customization in the game anymore. Grind your ass off just for locked loot Bc your grinding too fast.
-
Bungie nerfed slightly unbalanced fun in hopes to create a safe environment for casuals. That's what it's lacking: Fun. It will be the premature death of this game if they're not careful.
-
its cuz its the same game with lesser weapons more powerful ads and well its just a re-skin it will die long b4 the first game if the dlc doesnt provide some real serious upgrades oh and maybe some actual new exotics that would be great the sunbracers i mean come on this is a joke
-
No armor or gun rolls. Nothing exciting is going to happen after a match or strike. Just another gun you already have.
-
This game feels alot more Halo, and alot less destiny, and that isn't a good thing.
-
5 AntwortenThe weapon system... two primaries and "power" slot... slower ability times, Less customization in every aspect..... and less options all together, and lackluster exotics
-
I think that everything is fine except for a few small things. -while yes, it does make issues with balancing, random weapon rolls are fun and rewarding. Maybe you could implement it on only a few guns or something. -strike only loot. I remember when in Destiny 1 you would grind a single strike for hours just for the chance of getting a special loot drop not found anywhere else, and when you got it you were so happy. Now it's just finding the same weapons over and over again. There are probably more issues, but these are the main ones that come to mind
-
Destiny as a whole has so much potential and it’s sad that it’s been 3 years and it feels so lackluster. It’s disappointing in areas it should not Bungie hasn’t learn squat and seem too incompetent at excelling at pleasing fans and being great. Give me this games art style, potential, gun play with a better developer and you might be on to something this is not the bungie of old who created classic halo games.
-
It’s because they streamlined the game
