Hello Guardians So we've been busting supers and popping head shots for a couple of weeks now, maybe some of us are considering running an alternative character. Here's a few things I wish I had done when I started my adventure which could have helped me power up quicker or perhaps enjoy the game more. Feel free to share yours in the comments. Public events and making them Heroic: Some of the best levelling can be done chasing public events around like storm chasers. In fact some of the best loot I got early on was acquired through these. Learn how to make them Heroic. There's plenty of info on this around on the forum and YouTube so I won't repeat it here. Don't get too attached to early gear: I found a Scot rifle at around LVL 12, it had a nice snappy feel but I made the mistake in not using a better pistol or sub machine gun, and instead just waited to LVL up the rifle, that's only going to hold you back. Join a clan: There's lots of perks here, there's loot basically won by others actions and it will massively help you grow quickly. Find one which suits you, don't be afraid of going a clan. Some are casual, Some are serious. Find one which matches you. I wanted to join a clan with just nice friendly ppl, very casual, No commitments but I wanted to be able to log in and see people in my roster list who can help me run a strike or a nightfall so I made one! Feel free to join this group or find one which suits you https://www.bungie.net/en/ClanV2?groupid=2321006 Nightfall time hoop quirks Each nightfall has a timing quirk, I noticed that on a nightfall with hoops to jump through for adding time - get this - they won't disappear until the first loop to touched.
