Yes I know about Ikora. No I wont delete any of my three year old characters because I shouldnt have to.
Let start by saying this isn't a complaint.
It's constructive criticism.
Keep in mind this is a feature that was removed from destiny. It had no impact on rewards. I simply would like bungie to make it so we can go to the director. And choose a story mission at will.
They did a wonderful job with the game. However. I paid for this game. You promised a better campaign and you delivered. Why put so much effort into a story and then not give people the freedom to go back and enjoy the content they paid for at their leisure. You don't even need to offer rewards at the end. Just let me play what I paid for.
The Ikora mechanic of offering rewards is great. Just make some way for us to play the campaign again
Anyways that's my only issue I love the game. That's why I am writing this.
It's really simple.
Final final edit:
Had to shorten this. It turned into a super long rant.
Why would you argue with me about having something so simple put back into the game. It's not called complaining. On occasion Bungie actually listens to the players and makes changes to the game based off of popular opinion.
Right now. Popular opinion is putting this back in the game. A lot of people enjoyed the campaign.
The biggest thing is it was a feature in the last game. I'm speaking up. Not just settling because once you do that. Once you stop giving input is when game developers lose connection with the fans. No matter how small of a deal it may seem to you there are hundreds of thousands of other people. With different things they would like implemented in the game.
Why nay say everything. Why fight against adding such a simple thing. All it does is add content that is already there.
Most of all I apoligize for editing some of the original content of the post lol. Some people need things to be short and simple. So I tried to make my point as clear as possible.
Thanks folks.

Totally agree. I want to experience the story or they need to remove the story in the next game and advertise the game as a simple loot and shoot with no lore.
-
I 110% agree with you. Before I had internet and play land line games, we would play the Halo campaign again and again, probably hundreds of times. The replay value of the D2 story, from the beginning, is super high in my world...but I don’t want to delete any of my characters either. Please Bungie add this as an option!!!!!!!!!

They are probably saving all these things for a future update . They will hype the fact that strikes can now be individually selected! Story missions can now be replayed. Crucible game types can be chosen! And old raids return. Call it dlc without making any "new" content .

4 AntwortenCouldn't agree more, whoever thought the meditations and giving adventures to the planet NPCs really is quite stupid, the system worked perfectly in Destiny 1
-
1 AntwortenDelete a character and start again. Other than that why would you want to redo the Story there's no benefit
-
Make a secondary account and start fresh again
-
you also can't select an individual strike either. It took me 4 days just to try to play the strike on titan. Still have only played it twice.
-
Ok yeah they put more effort into the story. Pretty Much The bare minimum in so far that it has a story this time . Why anyone would want to replay it is beyond me... Its hardly something worth experiencing 4 Times lol. But you can always do the meditations.
-
1 AntwortenDidn't even bother reading the wall of writing, Ikoras meditations are there to replay the story.
-
2 AntwortenJust go to ikoras meditation
-
Just dump stuff in the vault. Delete toon. Rinse. Repeat.
-
actually you can play it as many time's as you want

2 AntwortenBearbeitet von TwitchyDroidLeg: 9/14/2017 8:14:35 AMReally don't understand why people are arguing semantics here... this is a valid point. Whatever the game is, whatever it offers, there is no reason to 'lock away' the campaign. It's fantastic. A couple missions are easily my favourite single player levels I've played in some time. Whatever the overarching structure of the game is, whatever you play it for, the content should be always available to all surely? Taking it to its natural conclusion, imagine a single player only game wasn't replayable after completion. There would be rioting in the streets and rivers of blood as the sky grew black. I love this game and have no complaints but the OP has a solid point.

Just delete a character and replay the story nibba

1 AntwortenCan't you just delete a character and play it from scratch again? Currious because I made 2 hunters with the plan on deleting the second post raid.

11 AntwortenBearbeitet von joey big guns: 9/13/2017 10:55:17 PMWell partner I hate to tell you this but you need to get with the times. This is how it is, it ain't back in yesteryear which you seem to be hung up on. They don't let us play the story over again...so what? How many times you need to run the story missions, especially if the loot would be pointless? You want to play the same story missions over and over agin? You don't get enough of that from strikes and patrols??? Because you paid for it, you get to play how you want to??? Hahah, have you not been here for a while pal. It doesn't matter how much you pay, or how much you like playing something, Bungie will eventually cut it off, they did that to everyone a while back and itll probably happen again. You should've taken photos or videos to reminisce about old crap that's done, gone and pointless after the fact. I also grew up in a time without internet....suck it up and stop living in the past bruh. Oh and you can play the campaign more than three times, you're just limiting yourself because you don't want to delete a character that takes a couple measly days to level up.
-
1 AntwortenAfter the third time, I was sick of watching my character plead the fifth through all of those beautiful cutscenes. Still, it's a fun campaign, I can skip the cutscenes.
-
2 AntwortenYeah for a story they hyped as one of the biggest focuses for the game, it makes no sense that it isn't replayable. Also I wish we could start up strikes through the director.
-
2 AntwortenBe happy that you can actually play the game. Many of us can't even do that due to connection errors.
-
3 AntwortenYou must have a serious mental disorder if you actually like the campaign that much, shit is almsot just as bad as d1 story. I almost lost my sanity just playing it once.
-
1 AntwortenDamn dude I don't even wanna do it on my second character.
-
I wish I only had to play it once. The campaign really contains minimal information about anything other the central plot
-
The adventures are the campaign missions
