Like legit this isn't a nightfall, it's speedrun the video game. These nightfalls are getting stupider and stupider say what you want but it's hard to have fun with this garbage.
Edit # 1 So I see I have some people who agree with me and I have some people who don't understand my viewpoint.
1. I never said I couldn't do the nightfall, I never said it was hard. I already did the nightfall so I have right to give my critique of it.
2. I said the nightfalls are getting stupid as they are straying away from they should be. A challenge that should be on the players skill, not based off of who can run past all the enemies.
3. The timer is stupid (my opinion) I'll respect anyone else's. I should be allowed to take my time and plan out my moves during the strike instead of having to restart half way through because a little too much time may have been wasted. Again I've done the nightfall it wasn't hard so difficulty is clearly not my problem my problem is that they are tossing in mechanics that don't belong in a nightfall. Why am I jumping through rings? Let me play my strike the way I want to. I want to shoot stuff not jump through rings to get more time in the strike.

Very true, it will be very upsetting if they add a timer or some sort of time restraint to the raid, as taking your time and organizing was one of the parts that made it fun and if it's timed it won't be much fun

3 AntwortenYou can take it slow just clear out a room then spend your time getting all the gates

One of my favorite AVGN episodes

4 Antwortenthe new nightfall with timers and ringtime is boring as -blam!-... I hope they remove it

The timers r stupid because the strikes r so long,u have to do practically a lap of the planet to get to the boss/enemy encounters your prity much just running past enemies or on your sparrow. It should just b like it was with the gold tier or sum thing like that

Couldn't agree more. It is just patched together.

Kill enemies before You jump through the first hoop of the increase time sections and for drill part kill all first the split into 3 then go when it's save and jump out of the way wait then go again but kill enemies first.

2 AntwortenNo, it's supposed to be intense and challenging. Unlike D1 nightfalls, communication and strategy is required. The timer is supposed to keep you on the edge of your seat.

Bearbeitet von it's pronounced Hai su ta: 9/13/2017 2:51:44 AMJeez Bungie how dare you make one of the most difficult activities in the game fun once in a while?!! How dare you force me to play an activity?! Bring back those tasteless and generic NF's so I could cry again at how the game lacks variety! You added daybreak and a timer, I was getting concerned..but now this?! You've crossed the line. Worst game ever.

I dont see how people can still be upset about this. It really isn't that difficult it is just a new way to play. You really have to just coordinate with your team and work together. Some spots you skip enemies some spots you nuke with supers to gain the most time. All it is, is learning the maps and how to be efficient on them. THis nightfall actually forces you to go out and fight the enemy is specific situations instead of camping in long drawn out fights. I like it this way.

I personally prefer a challenge and this is something that does exactly that. First run we managed to complete nightfall with 44 seconds left. We then discussed everything. What went wrong where and how we could improve. Second run we smashed it with over 7minutes left.
-
It's the exact opposite of the old nightfall, which was crawled through painfully slowly at times to prevent going back to orbit.

There's only so much that can be done to make existing content more difficult without actually redesigning that content. The weakness of Nightfalls has always been they are just slightly modified strikes.

4 AntwortenBearbeitet von eternal_napalm: 9/13/2017 1:23:35 AMTimers are an artificial mechanism of difficulty. For instance, the boss Nameless King in Dark Souls III is harder than anything in Destiny. His attacks are varied, fast, devastating and long-ranging. You can fight him infinitely, in theory. No lame artificial timer.

It's not a speed run if you are coordinated. Me and my friends finished the first nightfall with 7 minutes left because we strategize and killed enemies that were beneficial to the time, and didn't take that much time to kill. Same thing this time around, except you're jumping though hoops.

I hardly think you're being forced to do anything in D2. Ya don't like it, don't do it.
