Why am I being forced to play Superman 64 in the nightfall?
Like legit this isn't a nightfall, it's speedrun the video game. These nightfalls are getting stupider and stupider say what you want but it's hard to have fun with this garbage.
Edit # 1 So I see I have some people who agree with me and I have some people who don't understand my viewpoint.
1. I never said I couldn't do the nightfall, I never said it was hard. I already did the nightfall so I have right to give my critique of it.
2. I said the nightfalls are getting stupid as they are straying away from they should be. A challenge that should be on the players skill, not based off of who can run past all the enemies.
3. The timer is stupid (my opinion) I'll respect anyone else's. I should be allowed to take my time and plan out my moves during the strike instead of having to restart half way through because a little too much time may have been wasted. Again I've done the nightfall it wasn't hard so difficulty is clearly not my problem my problem is that they are tossing in mechanics that don't belong in a nightfall. Why am I jumping through rings? Let me play my strike the way I want to. I want to shoot stuff not jump through rings to get more time in the strike.

IDK I really didn't like it at first but then I turned on my mic and actually communicated and it was so much more fun. I kinda like the timer makes it to were you have to discuss the mission and plan some stuff out. It's def alot harder if no one is communicating anything and your just trying to run through as fast as possible.

Adding a few rings to jump through at the right time is a stupid way to up the difficulty of a mission. I am not sure that I will continue to do them because it simply isn't enjoyable to me. I also hate the rotating burn mechanic. It's a pain to read what the current burn is while trying to stay alive. Then having to switch a weapon out and hope that you don't die while doing so. Because that just wastes more time that we don't necessarily have. We already have bullet sponge bosses which is fine to me. But adding a timer to kill a bullet sponge is just stupid. I completed the NF this week with some friends with plenty of time left. But it was not fun to me at all.

My team did this week's Nightfall our second try - the timer really isn't more difficult than the old Nightfall was, it's actually ridiculously easier - just stupid and lacking in any sense. I really can't wrap my head around the fact that the endgame right now is currently running from point A to point B while avoiding everything else. Maybe jumps through a ring or two - big whoop. The funniest thing is without this change, in other words had this been D1s nightfall - my team would have failed 10+ times because there was literally that many occasions where all 3 of us were downed. (Especially at that retarded ass drill part with the cheap ass 1 hit kills). New Nightfall is not only easier - it's boring and takes away from Nightfall really was in the first game.

It's not that it has a timer bothers me is the duration 10 mins at least leave it at 20 mins like the bounty in Destiny 1.It is a speed run .You can't enjoy the game.IMO.

The timer is just stupid, it pretty much shows how unbalanced the NF really is when the real challenge is to speed run it.

i do not like the idea of timed content for a whole raid.. warframe has timed treasure hunt where you do a speedrun through a parcours to get to a door thats slowly closing. thats okay.. not the world but okay. here you have to complete a strike within time limit that you have to upp by jumping through rings, which are also on a timer and disappear after a while.. why is unclear.. and as a modifyer this is highly unrewarding and just used to inflate the difficulty artificially .. not good...

I agree with you. The timed hoopla is anti fun. I love the challenge but come on... hoops? Physical and literal hoops to jump through? I am really disappointed in that decision Having said that last weeks nf didn't seem as annoying. I think those hoops are the problem more so thank an overall time limit.
