Empty Chests need to be addressed
Everybody is an uproar about shaders of all things - but we have bigger issues on our hands guys.
There is a serious problem with loot in this game right now. Treasure Chests, Resource Nodes - and Even [u][b]Cayde's Stashes[/b][/u] have about a 1 in 5 chance of yielding absolutely nothing inside. (For some players).
-It has nothing to do with running away from the chest
-It has nothing to do with objects on the ground needing to be picked up
-It has nothing to do with glimmer cap
-It has nothing to do with Resource nodes sometimes only giving glimmer
-My game is not lagging
-Waiting 15 seconds or a full minute, it doesn't matter - it NEVER pops up or gives anything
-It's NOT a visual bug, you do NOT get the items. They do NOT go to postmaster
I've heard it all today guys, every single way possible to make this a user end issue - and it's all wrong. It's a bug, plain and simple. For those of you who don't think it's a big deal - you obviously don't understand the value of Cayde's cashes yet.. (Protip, they have an insanely high chance for exotics)

UPDATE 2: I just started my Titan and I made it to EDZ and started the first adventure from Devrin. He sends you across the street to the other building to open a cache - well lo and behold it was empty. Haven't opened anything else with this character yet except the one chest in the Dark Forest.
Basically my second chest in the game and nothing. Lovely. Just goes to show that it's also not an anti-loot mechanism in play.

2 AntwortenPlayers with a poor connection will noticed delays on loot from chests. In some scenarios, I assume the loot is extremely delayed, to the point where a player carries on to the next area, and misses the loot entirely.

Could be a bug, but I've never run into it. Could be a server thing too. Either way, that sucks I hope they fix it for you m8

2 Antworten3 out of 5 stashes were defintely empty for me. Ill be sad my favorite npc screwed me out of sweet loot after the hurricane passes. Oh man.. I guess I'll just have to get exotics by playing my new favorite game some more. 😢😂

Yeah I have lost out on several random chests as well as one of my Cayde chests. Cmon Bungie.

1 AntwortenI want to clarify that when there is a challenge on the specific planet you are farming on to either open chests or loot resource nodes, that if you do not get rewarded either in tokens or glimmer from the said node/chest, IT STILL COUNTS TOWARD THE CHALLENGE. This to me tells me there is a bug occurring.

I noticed it to, but only with public events and resource nodes so far, and only when in proximity to other players. And then not as bad as you've been getting it. It happened enough that I noticed it, but it's not been too terribly frequent.

My first stash from cayde that I spent roughly 5000 glimmer gave me absolutely nothing while I see my buddy next to me grab an exotic out of it.

I've been running around the Trostland for 15 minutes and have had all empty caches and resources. Not even glimmer coming out

Glimmer is a valid reward, even if it's annoying to receive only Glimmer from something like a Cayde Stash (happened to me too). Can you check if you're at the Glimmer Cap? EDIT: If you can, please record an instance of this happening, while showing the inventory and your Glimmer as well. A video is explaining the issue much better, as we can put them together showcasing the potential bug several times

1 AntwortenI agree with most of these, except for Cayde's chests. I'm pretty sure his chests are supposed to be a gamble of sorts, considering you can get junk items from his chests.

I first thought it was because I've been opening multiple cache in a certain amount of time, which is the reason why it is temporary giving me nothing. But I happen to stumble onto a cache about an hour after a long quest and it yield nothing, so its not a timed thing.

1 AntwortenI've had this problem since launch, it's very frustrating. You barely get any faction rep as it is with planetary materials, why are they so rare to actually receive?

2 AntwortenTested this on nessa using the same route that will yield 2-3 chests per run, time between pickups may be a factor but here are the results; 87 out of 100 had tressure with no buffs, 54 out 100 had treasure with only ghost shell finder buff, and 46 out of 100 had treasure with ghost shell and map. And yes after the hundred chests I conformed how many tokens I had In my inventory with no discrepancy I also didn't do any pups or kill any high value targets.

2 AntwortenWhat I've noticed is this. The chest isn't empty. It drops little pyramid looking engrams that have tokens and other zone specific items. If you don't grab them before the chest disappears they do too. That is dumb imo but it's not empty

I decided to try Cayde's treasure map. Got three of them. 2/3 were empty. The last one had two blues.

This happened to me once. Doing the heroic event in Titan. Killed the boss, went up to the chest, collected the loot but nothing

i had one of my 5 cayde stashes do this. just nothing. i stood there looking around and waiting.... nothing.

I've been having that problem as well. Happened MORE THAN ONCE! -blam!-! ME!!!
