Release Date for Xbox one
I'm not sure if this is just a problem with my Xbox but in the Xbox store, destiny to is said to release on September 19, 2017 at 9 PM. Is this actually when the game will be released for Xbox players?

17 AntwortenHello, Thank you for your report. While the Xbox Dashboard is currently displaying the wrong date, Destiny 2 will become available September 6, 2017. If you experience any issues accessing Destiny 2 licenses on September 6, you may need to contact Xbox Support for assistance.

1 AntwortenHey man, Just in case people are wondering. I spoke to Xbox Support Customer Service. According to the representative, she has informed me that those who own the digital copy of the game have a different version of that which is available on the Live Store, both console and PC stores. When Midnight hits for your region, you will be permitted to download the update upon selection of the game currently in your games and apps. This version is the Digital version you will be using.

People on xbox 1 are playing D2 already. I'm assuming they are in New Zealand as it's past midnight there already.

That is wrong. The base game launches on the 6th, but the version we can see on the store launches on the 20th supposedly. You can't view the pre-loaded game on the store, but all editions launch on the 6th for XONE.

Mine says the 20th September but my digital deluxe says 6th September. So i think I'm good.

My friends and I are seeing the same thing. Checked the Xbox page and it says the 6th. Checked my console and it says the 20th. Friend checked Microsoft page and it says 20th. Another friend (in Canada) checked her console and it says it's available on the 19th. Want to chalk it up as a bug but at the same time if the console "brain" thinks the release date is two weeks later than it's supposed to be those who preordered digital copies might still get screwed out of launch day access if it thinks it's not supposed to release the content. Anyone hear anything from Bungie via twitter or any other source on whether they know about this yet?
