7 AntwortenBearbeitet von CookieNiki: 8/18/2017 11:10:08 PMImo there's two ways of "looking" at Destiny (both D1 and D2): - you can play it for the story and the lore around it; - you can play it for the great gunplay and fun; I started playing in Y1 because of the first reason and the second one was just a great bonus. The first reason never happened so, somewhere between 2nd and 3rd year, I got to the point of just playing Destiny for the second reason. And that's where I stand right now. With that said, the only thing I expect from D2 is great gunplay and fun moments. If for some weird miracle D2 happens to have a cohesive-deep-adventurer story... it's a nice bonus. Don't lose my sleep about it, though.

1 AntwortenI do and I dont. It seems like they've got a lot of shit to do, expansive PVE list but they're essentially leaving behind the original Destiny because, in their own words, they don't know what the darkness is.

I'm liking because I remember what it was like being this high. Feel proud :D

14 AntwortenI'm taking THE smart option and waiting till year2 ofdestiny 2. That way the most annoying bugs will be gone and there will be enough content to justify the price

I don't have confidence in anything Destiny.

5 AntwortenNo because my guardian can not talk.

To be fair, it's not hard to exceed a failure.

2 AntwortenBearbeitet von OnlyGeowgie: 8/17/2017 12:34:27 AMDestiny 1's story has more bearing than we have given it. We blindy followed whar we were told, to fight an enemy we did not understand because we were told to, lent a power of unimaginible capability. Osiris was exiled from the tower, the speakers apprentice, why. "Every end crawls from the same pit, it cannot be stopped, but here it can be slowed, destroy the shrine to oryx". The smartest man who ever lived, Nikola Tesla (who believed in channeling divine energy and is responsible for 80% of our modern day technology, despite being alive a century ago, he was also fond of the sphere as an object and his cremated ashes are kept in them), he said there are for laws of creation. "The second law is spreading a darkness, which is the true nature of the light, from the inexplicable and its transformee into the light". The light and the darkness are not seperate, they are as one, an energy of the universe that can be chanelled by those who will it to be. "There is no beginning and no end, three previous laws always take place and the creation is eternal." We have ALL (every race) simple been tricked into conducting the natural order of the universe, creation, and destruction. There is no right or wrong philosophy. We simply believe ours to preserve life because it is what the human race has claimed to achieve, however we are just as hypocritical and destructive as the forces that seek to destroy us.

Just what I expected from the legion of fanboys. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

The beta mission had more content than the entire Destiny campaign so I'm not worried

Not to be rude, but everyone can see how many likes the post has. You don't have to edit the post to post something that is clearly visable. Its a little redundant lol

I prefer cautiously optimistic.

Confidence? No. Hopeful? Yes. Preordered? Hell yes.

The story will be generic crap. Maybe there's a plot twist that the stranger/traveller is behind all of it but even that won't make a difference. The most stupid enemy race of the franchise takes over the last human city with russian cold war tactics from 600years ago...that fact alsone makes everything else unimportant and stupid. The good thing is: I don't even care anymore. Story isn't what keeps the players in the game for thousands of hours. After one playthrough it'll be completely obsolete.
