Have you heard about the 8 man strike?
I was playing the beta last night and my fireteam and I jumped into a quickplay control match and then this happened....

To me this just proves it is possible and should be an option.

All joking aside, randomly being put into a strike with 6-8 people would be fun as hell and a nice change of pace. It also wouldn't hurt progression or gameplay in any way, it would just be a quicker strike. Maybe an idea for later Bungie.

I am 100% on board for an 8-man PVE experience. A few considerations, though: - it can't have raid complexity, because - it must have matchmaking, so - it can't can't take forever to complete The archon forge comps are pretty much spot on. Or firefight from Halo, though I haven't touched that franchise in a long while, so perhaps it's changed.

Reminds me of 8 man Court if Oryx. Took a little work to get it done, but a blast once you got it set up.
