So, the Grenade Launcher in D2 BETA... Am I the only one that hates it?
I can not stand the thing. It is hard to figure out how to use it and even when you are right on target with it, the damage seems too low. In my opinion, the juice is not worth the squeeze.

Personally, I've wanted a GL for a long time so it's nice to see one in here. I think we can all agree it's pretty useless in PVE. Seems the only real damage it can inflict is on direct hits. So in PVE, it DEFINITELY needs a buff in order to be useful. For PVP though, it does [i]enough [/i]damage when landing shots close to target and almost OHK's on direct hits. To buff this in PVP would make it a little OP I think. You could just spam flags or open areas and get real cheap/easy kills in volume. But since PVE/PVP can't be separated, I think it's just going to be more of a fun-to-use-but-useless weapon.

Everybody saying they hate the grenade launcher. Have that same energy when one of the exotics is holding the trigger and releasing when you want it to explode and another being explode on impact

Hardly any range and damage was garbage.

Nope. There almost no explosion, and we were all using a "high damage high explosive" model

I'm a grenade launching using mofo in games, I hate this one, fires like crap and crap damage

Haha it's literally trash. Blast radius needs to be increased massively. Players are too mobile in pvp for the grenade launcher to be any good

Even when I hit them directly it still feels like I'd be better off waving at them to death.

the rocket is better, but so far better options are fusion for pvp, shootgun for pve.

7 AntwortenPretty ridiculous that every power weapon is one shot kill except the grenade launcher. I had a guy trying to kill me with it last night and I out dueled him with Nightshade. Yeah that thing is bad.

I think I could take a basket of potatoes from the farm and do more damage throwing them at enemies than I can with that pathetic grenade launcher. Kills me knowing they spent actual development time on that sh*tty weapon.....
