Not going to lie I was excited for the beta today. Then I downloaded and played it. Felt like more of the same from the original. I do understand beta is not the finished product. However if I am going to spend my money on a brand new shiny Destiny I would like to be able to see some of these new features and not just play 1 of 2 PVP maps and a Strike mission. At least with the original Destiny Beta I got the opportunity to learn about my character, learn about the abilities and to grow some with the character. This beta basically told me, "You know the drill...have at it." Very hard to get into a game that gives you more of the same and none of the new. Shouldn't we be testing out the new stuff to make sure it works properly and get use to it?

4 AntwortenTotally agree, even something as fundamental as movement feels like a downgrade. Add to that the downgrade of pvp from 6v6 to 4v4. What a joke. Sequels are supposed to be better. Typical bungle.

I don't know if they will fix D2 , I have a total of 4 accounts 3 on Xbox and 1 on PS4 and the PVP in Destiny 2 is so bad I don't care to play Destiny 2 beta at all it only occupies you for about 1-2 hours after that you don't want to play much longer than that, 1st they made the arc strider clearly the worst new sub class in the game the super ability sucks you can outrun someone using it and if you are using it you can't catch no one and they are easy to kill and then the fact of only 1 person can get the power ammo sucks and the crucible play seems to be slower like the game is handicap and you're lucky if you get a super charged up to use it and then some games you don't even get a super it's like they got trickle on the supers in the crucible and don't get me wrong I love the crucible but not on D2 unless they do some major changes to it before launch.

Funny thing is: you're still gonna be buying this game and spend more time playing it 🤑bungie still wins 😎

I do understand that it is only a Beta and I only played homecoming and one game of PVP but I absolutely hate it . I have a lot of hours logged into Destiny 1 both on current and deleted accounts and I am hard pressed to continue without a lot of changes made. Hoping for the best but expect nothing .

It made me want to buy it so im not sure what you were playing.

Played 3 Control Matches this morning....generated no supers. It was awesome!
-
Control has always been my favorite mode. After playing one game of it in the beta, I was underwhelmed. I decided to give it another chance today so I played several games. I can honestly say it changed my mind. I think they ruined it. It doesn't feel like playing control anymore. The first control capture is already set and more than one guardian doesn't speed up the capture anymore. It feels like a bad game of clash with capturing control points as an afterthought. Taking away the need to neutralize an opponent's control point is probably a good change, but if I see a teammate taking a point there is no need to join them. Why expose myself to gunfire from the opposing if it does no good whatsoever? Overall it's a big step backwards for control. On the other hand, I was pleasantly surprised by countdown. I typically dislike the kind of games where you only have one life and have to be revived. Maybe because I was on a good team and it was one game, but it was okay.

Personally I was happy with the changes to crucible and the new game mechanics feel more smooth. I'm not real happy with how little I was able to play. The D1 beta had a lot more content in it and I was hoping for something along the same lines. I guess once again bungie doesn't care about the fan base that made there company what it is today.

8 AntwortenSuprise not about you, about bungie testing. Get over it.
We don't want you in D2 don't come back
37 AntwortenBearbeitet von TwoFiveOne_: 7/22/2017 2:50:42 PMYou don't understand how a beta works, do you? Betas are like a gameplay test, so Bungie can receive feedback on how things are going, and we can get a little taste of what the full game may be like. They're not supposed to have a lot of content, and major story elements generally are not revealed until the full game releases.

A beta release is like a girlfriend that shows you on breast...enjoy what you get and wait for more.

1 AntwortenThey focused do much on making this an mlg sweat fest that they killed pve.

6 AntwortenThe beta's main purpose is to stress-test servers and global networking, while teasing the audience a little bit. It will be the same for the new social-space tour coming up. A test to see how many players can be reasonably fit into it with ease. This beta was pretty good. Limited story progression leaving very little 'spoiled' early, a single strike to showcase location size and progression, new Crucible mode to showcase as well as small changes to other modes. They even locked out perks in the subclass tree for the beta so that they can be used in the full title.
-
You're missing the point of a beta. It's to stress test servers not to give you as much content as possible. D1 beta gave too much content leaving little to the imagination. D2, imo, is giving just the right amount. Two crucible modes which makes me curious on what they have planned for it. And a strike which makes me wonder how we get our ghost back, use some of the light again, all that jazz.

1 AntwortenThe problem is that the destiny community wants to be sold on new (or better) experiences, but the casual media wants to be sold on a better story. It's pretty obvious form the reveal event and the beta that they are strictly selling the game to the media that bashed the game for not having a good story.

3 AntwortenPvp centric map pack dlcs with re used assets masses of microtransactions with everything nerfed to uselessness, man i need to pre order it haha

1 AntwortenYour sentiments for the first Destiny Beta are a testament to the joy of this game. I think we can all agree that Bungie showed off so much of Base Destiny in the initial beta because there wasn't alot to do those first few months after launch. This beta is more of a demo, and I believe that Bungie isn't in a position where they have to show all their cards to us right now. They know they have a great game planned for us. This community never used to be this hyper critical, lest of all for a beta! Let's try to stay positive and aware right now...And tear them to shreds come September.

I hate to say it but I agree

I like it but of course it could be better

The Nova Bomb is an absolute disaster of a Super in its current form. I would really like to know what the devs had in mind when they created this slow purple ball of molasses. It's ridiculous that your enemy can outrun and jump over without any fear of being killed. I've tried to detonate it while it was in-flight but with little to no success of killing the enemy. I truly hope this is fixed because I liked the way the Nova Bomb was before.
-
I liked the game, it took me several plays to get my rhythm. My biggest issue is the inconsistencies with weapons and it is taking me a little while to be used to the new loadouts
-
Yeah. The beta was kinda shit. But they did say that it was months old and had already tweaked some things so maybe we're not hopelessly screwed when the game launches

19 AntwortenIt's soooooooo slow Also, why do titans have a shoulder charge if doesn't do anything? Just make it a default memes attack. Also where my shotty/snipes at?
