Don't mistake the vocal minority on this forum. I guarantee you D2 PvP will post much, much better player retention numbers then D1 did.
D1 pvp was a mess. It was broken.
While d2 MP obviously has flaws it actual feels like a somewhat competent pvp shooter. As opposed to a broken mess that you'd play for 20 minutes before laughing and turning it off.
With that being said here's a few things I think could be tweaked for the better.
-Nades and melees should recharge a little bit faster. They're pretty weak now so there's no need to have them on such a long cool down timer.
-The big problem is nade recharge being too long. People can clump teamshot because you almost never have an AOE attack to prevent it.
-Kill times and movement speeds could be bumped up a tad.
-I don't like that kills and assists are merged. Especially since assists are given out so easily.
-Static weapon perks make duplicate weapon drops totally pointless. You may as well be getting nothing.
-The lack of subclass options is disappointing.
- What's the point of "competitive" and "quick play" if they use the exact same MM? Competitive should have tight skill and party size MM. Quick play should be pretty much only cbmm.

Recruiting for clan, starting new for destiny2! Mainly pvp,the clan name is Young Garbage,it's meant for sweaty people and nothing but the best, those who laugh at the name won't be laughing anyone more at the end of the match, chill people only and must have a mic, message Taraity13 for more info.

Not sure it's a minority

Having trials always in D2? No no. Going back to orbit!

And pve is lightyears behind...

Pvp in destiny 2 is awsome, It's more balanced, domination is better than destiny 1, countdown is great and need teamwork if you run around the map and let your ally alone you probably lose match.

Given how low destiny one set the bar for pvp, that's not a hard accomplishment.
I'm talking "5 miles below sea level" low.
32 AntwortenI can deal with the flaws... Just for the sake of people's sanity... Can Solo's run into fireteams less often? It doesn't make the least bit sense how often I run into fireteams, and I have the whole squad of randos. You'd think with all the fireteams I face constantly, they'd have enough fireteams to face each other instead. I'm not saying this has to be every match, just say, 1/7 matches involves a fireteam. It can't be that hard.

It is. But the pve is not at all

4 AntwortenThe thing I don't like is the matches them selves 4v4 instead of 6v6 and they seem to be much shorter but I don't see why everybody is complaining about the ttk it makes teammates work together more

Wholeheartedly agree. The only times I've exclaimed in aggravation or surprise has been against a power weapon, or a whole slew of people shooting me at once. Otherwise? I'm actually having a lot of fun. Destiny 2 feels like Halo, but is distinctly it's own thing which I greatly enjoy.

7 AntwortenNo I do not agree

Disagree, only problem with destiny pvp is the balance.....that's it. Lag and balance could have been fixed in D2.
