Just got kicked out of a game by these guys. Info on their [REDACTED] history in the description. Shows how they've won several matches by kicking out opponents.
Bungie, please ban these players.
Sorry if this was posted in the wrong section of the forum.
I've taken the liberty of removing the gaming account names of the person(s) who you stated were cheating.
Bungie takes reports and game bans VERY seriously, and so they carefully research those reports against their server logs for actual shenanigans (cheating/exploits). If those reports and the investigation bear fruit, the cheaters will be dealt with. But things like making a vid, creating a topic, and/or naming them here on the forums serves no purpose and has no benefit. If you have used the in-game report tool, then you've done your part. And thank you for doing so.
For those who who want to take the extra step, or were kicked from the game (and are unable to access the reporting tool), Bungie has created a Cheating Submission Form that allows players to find the PGCR (Post Game Carnage Report) from their personal history, fill out an official report, describe the cheating, and even link a vid (if they have one). Please feel free and encouraged to use this tool, but pay close attention to the warnings on the form.
* If you are not confident that a player was cheating, do not use this form.
* Abuse of this contact form may result in account restrictions.
* Fraudulent reports and submissions unrelated to cheating may result in disciplinary actions against your account.

2 AntwortenBearbeitet von Spawn: 7/17/2017 5:46:15 PM
Sorry if this was posted in the wrong section of the forum.
As a heads up, we actually don't allow these types of posts in any section of the forum. Check the spoiler I've included in your OP, Bungie provides players with a specific Cheating Submission Form if you believe someone is cheating in Destiny. That goes directly to Bungie. Posting any identifiable information (names, gamertags, videos, progress reports, links, etc) is potential for harassment. More information on the Code of Conduct here https://www.bungie.net/en/Clan/Post/121/162456429/0/0.

I just want to add, that I find it sad how the mod who removed my video is protecting these criminals. My friends who got kicked had their internet shut down for almost 30-60 min. That is a serious crime and should not be taken lightly. These people who hack like this don't deserve to be protected, they deserve a permaban and a police report.. end of story.

8 AntwortenHello guardian, Please remove any and all identifying information of the guardians you believe are winning through dubious methods. Bungie takes reports of cheating very seriously and advises that you either report them in game: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12960 Or using the form on the site: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Troubleshoot?oid=13967

7 AntwortenBearbeitet von jnikoley: 7/17/2017 6:05:06 PMI looked through the recent games belonging to a psn id that I believe is you (your account isn't linked to bnet). On that account, there was a recent trials of osiris match that had both teammates lose connection. When inspecting the stats of the other team, it is clear that one of them is playing on a new account, has won multiple consecutive matches with multiple different fire teams against opponents who lose connection. That is exactly the type of match history I would expect to see for someone that uses DOS attacks to boot their opponents. I suggest you post a PGCR to the match you lost connection in. Let others inspect the match to decide for themselves if the match should be reported for cheating. Anyone can report a match for cheating using Bungie's online report form: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Troubleshoot?oid=13967 Also, posting a PGCR to a match you played in (or others) IS NOT a privacy violation, although a ninja may read their own rules differently. Be cautioned. Posting a video link is likely interpreted differently, and you should probably remove the YouTube link.
What is a violation of privacy?
A violation of privacy occurs anytime a user publicly exposes information or content about another user without his or her consent. This does not include information readily available by looking at a user's public-facing Bungie.net profile (such as gamertags, basic game stats, profile information and links, etc.)

It's unfortunate that I feel it necessary to quote the ninjas own rules to discourage them from doing what I've seen them do many times in the past. Pretty much they do what they want, so be warned. They seem to care less that you're reporting a person committing felonies and feel all important that it's necessary to protect a cheater and punish you instead.

2 AntwortenIt happens all to often and will continue in D2 with this fantastic p2p connection.

1 AntwortenDidn't see any proof of DDOS. Did you get a report from your router?
