If you feel you have been shafted by Bungie, if you feel that with the possibility of Nightstalker not returning makes you less of a team player, have no fear. Now that Bungie has added PRECISION DAMAGE to our Golden Gun (finally thank the lord) we will become one of the prime sources of dps in raids and strikes... Not only is our super geared toward dps, but our class ability allows us to put more bullets in the boss by refilling the mag. Let us also not forgot that now snipers share a home with our heavy weapons. And that we only have weak primary's to help us defeat Dominus Ghaul, they will definitely need a good dps warrior. Yes Titans are still OP in crucible, and Warlocks may rule the skies for now, but the Hunters domain is the wild... So what do you guys think? Hunter master race? Or did we still get shafted? Look forward to seeing my Hunters in D2!
Edit: Which Class and Subclass will you be starting/maining in Destiny 2? Also which Class and Subclass will you hate/fear in crucible?

#HUNTER MASTER RACE

I'm a die-hard Gunslinger fanatic for sure, but even I know of the importance of having good team synergy. RIP Defender.

1 AntwortenHunter are the best titans are cry babies and warlocks are ok

ALL CLASSES ARE BETTER IN PVE!!!! WOOHOO!!!! Praise the sun!!!

<3 hunter pride 2stronk

3 AntwortenAm I the only one who gets a little uncomfortable when master race is used? I looked the other way about clans but I draw the line with master race. Can we all just say class instead? It's more correct. Exo characters have no race but can be a class for example. #sarcasm

They are equal

3 AntwortenI am excited to try the remade hunter classes! I have mained a hunter from the beta and hunter was my first pick in the official Destiny release. The same thing will happen in Destiny 2. The hunter just feels much better to me than the warlock or titan. Although I will have one of each because why would I chump myself out of two thirds of what Destiny 2 has to offer.
-
4 AntwortenI maimed titan in d1 so in the beta I'm going to try out the warlock and hunter
-
1 AntwortenArc strider > Fist of Panic (now it's whoever hits first between the two) so im happy.
still wish it stayed bladedancer...
-
5 AntwortenTitan here, I'm just going to offer one hand in friendship and hold out a bottle of Visine in the other. The Hunters are gonna need it, trust me.
-
1 AntwortenPlan on being a hunter in d2, an arc strider main at that(aka pole dancer)
-
I've been pretty much a gunslinger Hunter from day dot. I just found it the most enjoyable, weather it's throwing knives at enemies, sticking them with trip mines or just bouncing round the map with triple jump. I will main and probably only play Hunter in Destiny 2
-
1 AntwortenIf nightstalker isn't coming back hunters are probably going to be the worst class in destiny 2. Gunslinger seems weak and arcstrider is just a slightly different bladedancer.
-
3 AntwortenI see no reason for anyone to play as hunter in d2 (pve) Yes golden gun does have 6shot crit damage. Yes arc strider is "great" mob control. However, as a titan you can summon a half wall. Then use you gun without reloading for as long the wall stands. Oh and that wall it shields you from damage, it also damages enemies who walk through it, and slows though who try to pass through it. As far as killing mobs, why not just defender/bladedancer. They get a mobile" shield" that can perform devastating melees, be thrown across the map, or used to maneuver around. Now thats two hunters keys features done better by only 1 subclass on titan. Dps and add control. I just don't get any hunters are basically unless now compared to beefed up titans and warlocks. It's really sad. ((hunter main) (over 1600 active hours, 2400 including tower/orbit))

2 AntwortenAs far as what class and subclass, I'll do what I did in D1: try them all out and decide from there. Dawnblade (I'm trying to come up with a witty nickname for this subclass. Firestarter?) will likely give me the same explosive satisfaction that Sunbreaker gives me, while Sentinel (a.k.a. Captain Cosmodrome) looks like a fascinating take on Defender. Arcstrider (alias Poledancer) looks very interesting, as it seems like what would happen if a Bladedancer suddenly learned kung fu. That said, I mained a warlock through TTK and RoI and there's one in three chance I will do so again. As far as Crucible goes, I'm not worried, as I rarely play PvP.

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von DuBChiri2: 7/12/2017 4:13:17 PMI like how much people say "hunters are useless for pve" but yet the only thing that really makes them useless is the player. Your class doesn't shoot your guns, your main source of damage, it doesn't determine you only have to be Titan and warlock to be viable. Considering how long it takes for a Titans barrier to recover compared to the hunters roll is also of great significance, same with the warlock rift. Supers already take much longer to regenerate, same with abilities, so really the only problem is the person's competence, and his/her ability to listen/give correct orders. The gun doesn't shoot for you. ...also don't let people act like that.

I can agree that the lack of mobility on hunters did put them at a disadvantage in D1, however looking at all the changes that are coming with D2 is see no reason for this to be true. All the melee ranges have been equalized. There will be no complaining about warlocks dominating close quarters. In fact hunters have easier access to vertical height than locks and titans so I say hunters are better there. Mobility has been evened out as well. We all know titans can't skate anymore, warlocks glide was never considered op so I won't talk there. We also know that, like D1 maps will be close quarters and I already stated with the access to vertical height hunters will be strong. Hunter will also be evasive and strong in the form of arc striders and will have access to perks that HELP WITH PRIMARY GUNFIGHTS, which is what D2 will be all about anyway. They also gave hunters a upgrade that will put them on power levels close to pre-nerf sunbreakers.
they buffed hunters so the can beat warlocks in staring competition
For anyone who still thinks Hunters will take the most skill in D2 please explain why in the comments.

1 AntwortenI had no idea about the precision damage add. That's gonna be a big draw for me as I enjoy the gunslinger class and only play PvE (just came back and don't own RoI). I've always enjoyed each class, no idea why people debate which is better since they are so different.
-
6 AntwortenWill definitely be maining a Hunter again. I don't mind Warlock's and hate Titans ( just something about them I do not like ). I'm honestly quite happy about the Arcstider subclass. I couldn't for the life of me work out Bladedancer, that is just one subclass I avoid. Arcstrider though, I'm gonna try and see if I can at least work it easier than Bladedancer.

2 AntwortenBeen a Hunter since the Alpha for Destiny. I'm not stopping now
-
5 AntwortenThere are no hunters in destiny 2 yet because destiny 2 is not released.
-
2 AntwortenWhy y'all trying to bite on the master race thing? Warlocks started calling themselves that first, get your own label.
-
2 hunters 1 warlock is the way I'm leaning towards.

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von Cosmic: 7/12/2017 7:15:33 PMHold the fuсk up.
lack of nightstalker feel like less of a team player

less of a team player

team player
I cannot remember a time in destiny's history where being a "team player" was ever possible, except maybe shooting some enemies while your ally can't. Furthermore, except for the titan's bubble shield, there isn't a team based class in he game! The "super abilities" are just shiny killstreaks from CoD, they serve only to give you free kills, with the exception of the bubble shield, obviously.

3 AntwortenHunter for me this time! Im gonna go backwards to what i did in destiny 1. (Titan Warlock Hunter) D2: Hunter, Warlock, then Titan.
