Beta Dates Again
July 18th - PS4 early access beta begins
July 19th - XBone early access beta begins
July 21st - Open beta begins
July 23rd - All betas end
Late August - PC beta
All Closed Betas are for those that preordered.
All console betas start at 10 am PDT. They end at 9 pm PDT on July 23rd. No further information has been given for PC.
I only made this because there have been numerous posts in which people have thought that the beta is going on.
Edit: Console Beta can be predownloaded at 10 am PDT on 13 July 2017

16 AntwortenIt's not a beta. Even review magazines like our german Gamestar recognize that. It's just a marketing tool! The D2 [i]beta[/i] is just a preview of small portions of the game and it's main purpose is to attract [b]preorders[/b]. In the past we called it a [b]demo[/b]! Sadly all the dumb[b]fu[/b]cks fall for this shit and even pay early for a demo. smh

Preorder people get about double the amount of time on the beta than the rest of us. In retrospect, that's just not a good idea or good business practice. For any sort of beta, you'll want to have a lot of feedback. Releasing a [i][b]single[/b][/i] beta that's only available for barely a week for preorder players and half that amount for non-preorder players for a game that's about 2-3 months away from release isn't going to get you good results. Consider how big a consumer base you have and how many are going to be buying Destiny 2. Now, as most (if not all) gamers know playing the beta for a game you are interested in is a good idea. Do the research before making a purchase. Considering Destiny 1's and other similar game's past performances on release, they somewhat had a clue as to what they were doing. Take Ubisoft for example. Most of thier betas consist of a closed version for a short period of time, than an open beta for about twice as long as the previous closed beta. While not all of thier games in the past few years have been..."great"...they at least knew how to test out a proper beta build before the initial release. Closed beta=short initial test run, fixes most bugs and minor gameplay changes Open beta=same idea, but focuses more on it's durability to handle more content than the closed beta with the fixes That's my 2 cents for the day. :) I hope this makes sense to someone else besides me. Edit: im beginning to see that people think I'm not buying Destiny 2. I am, regardless of what happens in the beta. I was just commenting that Bungie should think things through before making decisions like these. :/ Edit2: I see that the insult bandwagon is here now. If ya don't have anything nice to say, buzz off.
