Beta Dates Again
July 18th - PS4 early access beta begins
July 19th - XBone early access beta begins
July 21st - Open beta begins
July 23rd - All betas end
Late August - PC beta
All Closed Betas are for those that preordered.
All console betas start at 10 am PDT. They end at 9 pm PDT on July 23rd. No further information has been given for PC.
I only made this because there have been numerous posts in which people have thought that the beta is going on.
Edit: Console Beta can be predownloaded at 10 am PDT on 13 July 2017
Edit: Read people. The times are in the post. If people would just read, half of the questions posted in the forums wouldn't need to be posted. We can't hold your hand forever.

Yeah sounds good doesnt work i have it preordered and downloaded the beta also received an email inviting me to the beta that doesnt have a code plus i didnt get a code with the preorder and all i get is servers unavailable..... welp time to cancel the preorder i can see how this games gonna go #nomanssky

I'm not a crazy hater on Play Station, and I get that Xbox has some set backs, but shouldn't the day that early beta for Xbox come out on July 18th as well, so Xbox fans don't miss out? In my opinion that's really unfair. I also get that servers get extremely trafficked or busy on the days that something big comes out for bungie but bungie needs to expand their capacity because bungie is only getting bigger and bigger. On the day that Rise of Iron came out they had crazy amounts of trafficking, so this only sets an example that they really need to work on how much their servers can take, cause things only get bigger from this point on. Edit: I mentioned servers because that's what keeps games running, and obviously bungo will be busy keeping things up when the betas come out. I also wanted to add that even I've been kinda thinking about switching consoles, but I refuse because of the amount of money, sweat, tears, and blood I've put into games since the original Xbox.

10 AntwortenSo, I am preloading on the Xbox. I preordered a digital copy. My question/concern is this : I started to download but realized it says for open beta. I am assuming it will let me access the closed due to my preorder, but you know what happens when one assumes. Can anyone confirm if this even matters, which to download? I don't see a closed beta or early access option anywhere. It just says destiny 2 beta, and reads open beta in the description. Thanks!

2 AntwortenI have a feeling that it'll go the same way as always when Bungie updates/releases anything and a -blam!-load of people try to login at once. Weasel/caterpillar/centipede/giraffe/octopussy/etc for the first 3 hours. Hope I'm wrong.
